I am definitely going to this show. Rehash or no rehash. Arco is practically in my backyard. Probably wont be many people from HTGTH attending this show unfortunately. Not many of you from my neck of the woods. Only people I can think of from my area here are Sterling and Hungerforchaos. Maybe Botaxl.

This arena has excellent sound. I seen Alice in Chains, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth at this arena. Awesome show. Its not a very large arena either. At that show I went to, it was general admission, and you could either just sit at your seat, or go to the floor and stand and push your way towards the stage.

Oh gosh, this is tempting.  I'm going to be at UC Davis.  I have a class on that day that ends at 6pm.  This is really really tempting.  If I'm going, I'll need to figure out how I'm gonna get from Davis to Sacramento.  I'll have to figure out the bus route.

Go Ags!  I haven't been up there in five years, but if I remember correctly the Yolobus didn't go to Arco.  Maybe you can take it to downtown Sacto and transfer to the Sacramento bus line, but I don't know if that works.  This is why downtown arenas are the way of the future.

Just in case anyone is wondering, this event is being promoted by 98rock. Its on their homepage and they are running contests this week to 'beat the box office' and win tickets. I've won tickets from this radio station before(NIN last year), they are pretty good about giving stuff away. Also, they are promoting it as "Guns 'N' Roses and special guests".

and hi to those above from the central valley. i'm from Tracy Grin, but I probably won't be able to afford this show because of the warfield ones.

My excitement is overwhelming. I am so going to this show. I would've loved to have gone to the Warfield shows. But my mom is having surgery and I have to take care of her. But Sac is good enough for me. I haven't seen GNR in soooooo long. I'm as giddy as a teenager all over again.

Now to convince my boyfriend to go with me. For some reason he is jealous of my Axl.

It is a GA concert--which gives them tons more room on the floor!  I think the shows are selling fairly well, if one searches around for different types of seating.  Check back closer to the concert date, and this thing will be nearly sold out, if not sold out!!!   Going to be a phenomenal show--just wait until the hype kicks in closer to showtime!!!   ok

Sales on this show are really picking up steam!!!  Don't ask how I know, but I do!!  If you are on the fence, you might want to make a move sooner as opposed to later. yes

Do you think they will have show in san jose?  I think I might get tickets for the sacramento show and not wait around to see if they have a show in San Jose.  I am already going to both San Francisco shows, but I want to see them as many times as possible.

Its not all GA, just the floor, the rest of the venue is reserved, and you can still get some great seats(if thats what someone was looking for). The show is selling quite well, but not nearly a sellout yet. Its understandable though, Sacramento isn't an easy market for anyone to sellout, I've seen quite a few tours in the area that where easily selling out other venues, but Sac was slow.

Has anyone else gotten tickets for this yet?  Or is everyone still just thinking about it?  I keep reading this thread and no one has mentioned actually getting tickets.
I get paid on Friday. I'm glad no one's mentioning buying tickets. rofl Means I can get some. I am gonna have to buy 3 to possibly 5 tickets for this show. I have been praying all week that the show wouldnt sell out. Even if it did, I could go to fresno. Same distance from me. But I love Arco Arena. beer

Yeah I sure do. Modesto is pretty much dead center in the middle of the state, and Fresno and Sac are both 80 miles from me, and Bakersfield is like 200 miles away(or something like that). Reno is also the same distance as Bakersfield. I have actually considered going to more than one show, but as of right now, I'm just gonna buy tickets for Arco. If the setlist has been revamped in Vegas or Devore, I might buy tickets to that Fresno show.

Hi folks, new guy here.? I'm coming down from Portland for the show and while my tickets aren't on the floor I'm wondering why you're calling the floor GA when it looks like it's reserved seating (from what I can tell on Ticketmaster.)? What's the real deal??

That confused me as well. Last time I was at arco, it was all GA. You could either sit in your seat, or go to the floor. Now, you have to pay a higher price just to be on the floor, and you dont get a seat. I wanted floor(its still available), but I'm taking my young cousin(she's a new fan), and I didnt want her around the chaos that sometimes goes on at the floor. I got good seats though. smoking

So what's the deal with all of the ticket "resellers" who are advertising great floor seats (for big $$$)?? I've seen a number of ads claiming this row or that row (on the floor.)? ? Huh

Arco is a small arena. Wont need a telescope anywhere. I dont understand how they could be selling floor seats, because on livenation it says standing only. If there's seats on the floor I'm going to be pissed because I could have had them. crying

Does anyone know if they just sell tickets to one side of the arena, then only open the other side if first sells out?

I noticed at the SaveMart Center, everytime I would check the status of the lower level seating, it was always just one side.
Now the $75.00 on that side have sold out, and only the $39 tickets are available.

Im sure they're doing the same thing at Arco..Its gonna be kinda bunk if they only get enough fans for one side.

Anyways looks like they sold alot of tickets on Tuesday.

They have sold each side equally.  While there are good tickets left (esp. some lower level seating), it looks as if this show is going to have great attendance.  Again, I would buy good tickets now, if I saw them, so as not to risk the the rush on these things as word of the Vegas, Warfield and Inland Invasion shows disseminates throughout the West Coast.

Does it concern anyone that you can still get floor seats for all the arena shows?  Tickets have been on sale for a couple of weeks now. Or is that normal?

Maybe GnR's audience is getting older and a lot of folks don't want to do the floor thing?? I know the appeal of general admission has lost its shine to me.? Truthfully I don't know how soon one should expect their shows to sell out.

Additional Information:
Customers who purchased reserved floor seating will be contacted by promoter regarding reseating/refund options.

Well something seems strange about the sales at Arco and Savemart center....A few weeks ago, sales seemed to
be going thru the roof, entire sections were being sold in days...Now all of a sudden, its been about 10 days, and
they cant even sell out ONE ROW.....Im not kidding.. The best LOWER LEVEL seat you can get at Savemart is sec 124
row L...Its been that way for 10 days...And Arco has sold around 3 rows only. This doesnt take into account general admission
seats..

They must've been reseating people during that surge.

I'll be happy as long as more people show up than they did for Velvot Revolver.

I was wondering that, because floor seats are GA, maybe old farts like me (28) who deem themselves unable to handle a standing, pushing, shoving, concert, they would be buying up all of the lower level seating then.  But this also does not seem to be the case. There are only a few weeks left until the show.  I hope they at least get a decent crowd.

Let me start off by saying that I am going to sacramento and hope to have a good time , but last time axl played here he shut the show down early cause duff got smacked with a piss bottle....

.....The locals still remember that , now, throw in the fact that this is not the original line up and higher tickets prices to hear straight nastalgia and its no wonder that this show isn't sold out....

....Axl and co. need to find a better way of promoting this, the I dn' know when the record is coming out but some time this year shit isn't cutting it.Which leads into my next argument .

there needs to be a official website that is just absoulutly stcked with gnr digital media , press releases perhaps a apologie or two.You now....all the bells and whistles , a band can use the net for ....perhaps a iography on each new band member , upcoming dates , a tour history log , maybe a sction explaining why the old band members left , etc, etc,

not ranting just stating facts

You know, its funny, I was getting my hair cut a few days ago, telling my hairdresser about going to the warfield shows, and it prompted a huge speech from her about seeing them in sacramento. It kind of surprised me actually.

Is there going to be some sort of meetup here, or is everyone just doing their own thing? nervous This is the only show where no one talks about getting together.

I stopped doing drugs and shit quite a long time ago. One thing that troubles me about this show: I chainsmoke cigarettes, and no smoking is allowed in Arco. nervous

This show is gonna be PG rated for me. I'm taking my 14 year old cousin. She's a new fan so I figured I should take her.

I guess I wont be consuming any of these "goodies" you guys bring to the show. hihi

I'm an old guy also, no goodie-bringing here.? I haven't participated in that phase of concert-going since the 80's.? It was all but expected then but they aren't so friendly to that stuff anymore.

Once again, the Sacramento fans get screwed.  The Arco date has been moved to Jan. 10th now, not October 2nd.  This could be a sign that the new album is really on its way if they think it may help spark ticket sales if they move the date back.

I've got plane tickets and hotel reservations and I'm betting I'm gonna get screwed on part of it. This wouldn't be a problem if they'd just schedule a concert here or near to Portland. I'd hate on 'em if I didn't love their music so much.

With the new dates announced this morning I have to say goodbye Sacramento and hello Portland!? Sorry you Sacramento folks are kinda getting the short end with the date change and all but let's hope the future holds no more bad surprises.? Oh and I would have still come down for the original October date even with a new concert right here close to home but I'm not gonna tempt fate any further. Good luck to you folks!

I'll be buying my tickets to this once I get my first paycheck, or maybe I can get my dad to give me an early christmas present, but I'll definately be there.

This show being cancelled doesn't really bother me. I dont give a fuck about rehash anyways. I'd much rather Axl actually work on finishing the album and releasing the album than playing a tribute to AFD in my vicinity. Hopefully when GNR eventually come back to Cali, the setlist has been revamped.

I bought my tickets online from Ticketmaster and they credited my card Dec. 19.? I guess we get to keep the tickets as a bittersweet memory of what could have been.? ?Sad? Oh well, at least I got to see them here in Portland.
