Awesome!!!

And I have always wondered if Gilby ever washed that shirt on the tour?

Haha, that can be asked at the next interview...

I thought that was a great interview.  Like some one else mentioned, he always handles the GNR questions well.

nice job and thanks for the interview!

if you dont mind can i ask how you did the interview though?  cuz all the text that u posted seems like gilby said 100% of it, but if your talking to him you certainly cant write that stuff down word for word.  how does that work?

Well, first of all, I promoted all 3 of his gigs in Greece. So, I was with the band the whole time as I was responsible for all the cities they played in. The interview was done on his last day in Greece, right before the last show.

He was cool enough to answer all the questions I chose...

Second, I used a micro cassette recorder. So, all I had to do was "transfer" the interview from the cassette to text. I did it word for word.

I think it's safe to say that Gilby doesn't listen to a lot of new music, if he can only come up with Pearl Jam and Jet as answers to the second question.  Wink

He's such a cool guy, though. Hope he has fun with the whole Supernova thing.

He listens, he just doesn't like it.

I mean, what's there to like? How many new bands out there are really worth it? Huh

I met Gilby a few times over the years.  He's always been so nice to everybody.  After a show he'd go to his bus change or do whatever then come out and sign autographs and take pictures with everybody.  He is genuinely a VERY VERY nice person.

I didn't even know he was doing that Supernova show.   I just watched it for the first time the other night.  Good for him, I hope it does well.
