Chinese Democracy out 2014!

CD can't be released without a date. Even if the management wouldn't tell it to normal people, someone would.

I think it is OCt 24th

Axl said the tour started OCT 24th but I got news for u Axl, the tour has already started.

How can u start a tour on OCT 24th when u are already touring in Sept?

He could've been making a mistake....but you mean a freudian slip? naaah

on 24th of october the first single hits the shelves. mark my words.? Cool

Maybe that would make sense, during the break they could be recording the video (maybe using footage from the warm up shows - new song/better?), and getting everything ready for the album before they go on a big ass tour.

Release a single on 24th, and the album a couple of weeks later.

I got news for you: The tour starts in October, but they'll play some shows before that.

Listen to what he said.

Why not?

You can play shows and those might not be part of the tour promoting the album itself.

It sounded more normal when Axl said this as he had only announced a couple of shows then. But then again, this is W. Axl Rose...  peace

Same statement here ('later this month')... It says 'Staff Reports', what's that?

From Staff Reports

GREENSBORO ? You can take your "Sweet Child O Mine" to a Halloween concert if you have an "Appetite for Destruction."

Guns N? Roses, the hard rocking ?80s band that last came to Greensboro in 1991, announced Friday that they?re coming back to the Greensboro Coliseum on Oct. 31.

Greensboro is the only North Carolina stop in this year?s tour. Axl Rose?s band releases its new album, "Chinese Democracy," later this month.

Tickets ? ranging from $39.50-$75 ? go on sale Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. at tickets.com or by calling (888) 397-3100.

In the past few days alone, I've read three major magazines with cover and/or lead stories about the big ablum releases for the fall and holiday season.  If CD is in fact going to be out this year, it's a shame that it hasn't been announced in order to be a part of these "big" stories...

I prefer not to get my hopes up on this.
I'm still waiting for the album to come out "later this year".

Maybe thats the idea. To not get lumped in with all the other fall releases. To maybe get stories soley about the album not grouped in w/ everyone else. Who knows.
