Well, I think there are only a few sections left to fill.  They are out of $39.50 tickets already.

Hey Jono, are a lot of people from Cape Breton going to the show?

I think so, I have 5 going with me, and I know of quite a few others going as well.

America, since Bush took over, has been dumbied down culturally (not to mentioned flat out raped by this administrations policies--economics may have something to do with slower sales in the U.S., as the economy is not what it was in the 90's). ?It is a cycle, which reminds me of the mid-80's. ?Cheese-puffs, sniffling-indie kids, media-manufactured stars, etc. ?America, it seems is usually about two years behind Europe when it comes to musical shifts and cycles. ?It will come around, eventually!

rofl I love americans!  If anything isn't going your way, blame it on the President.  Even blame the fact people aren't buying Guns N' Roses tickets.

Yeah, right after I posted this I thought.....man, someone is going to spin this as it having something to do with Bush.....and sure enough.....everything is Bush's fault I guess, even GNR ticket prices. Wait, I know, Bush made it so gas companies are making it to expensive to heat and/or electric companies to air condition the venues, hence the high ticket prices, and only rich republicans can go to the show.  Maybe after the Democrats take over congress in November, GNR will sell out every venue the day after. LoL

I digress and that was not what intended by the post I guess.....I am just glad to see some of the world still loves GNR like I do.

Um to everyone saying that their arena is half full etc etc, or WHATEVER which means nothing anyways. Halifax's market is WAY smaller then Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, New York ETC ETC. We have maybe 350,000-400,000 in halifax so by selling out this quick by a band who hasnt seen the maritimes in over 18 years is remarkable, LET alone the fact that its just Axl and Dizzy.

Gonna be a GREAT SHOW, see all you fuckers in section 7.

I said the same thing the page before.  There is only 400,000 in Halifax.  Also, it's not like big name acts don't come to Halifax.  The Rolling Stones were here last week, as well as Motley Crew and Pear Jam last year.  So it is quite impressive to sell it out in this amount of time.  See u in section 7.

I gave props to NY too on the tour thread.  But someone responded saying that NY sells out because of all of these tourists who come there to see the show. Maybe he's right, I wouldnt know, but it seems far fetched since Vegas still had some tickets left.

Maybe I am elitist, but if I am planning a vacation around a concert of some sort, $50-$100 for a concert ticket would not be a deal breaker either way.  If it was a deal breaker, then its obvious I can't afford the vacation to begin with.

Plus I would think vegas would be cheaper for hotels, food, etc....just sit at the nickel slots and eat $1 shrimp.
