I don't understand WHY these boots hold more value than others. ?They are still BOOTS aka usually crappy ass recordings. ?So what if some company pressed them? ?WHY are they so special? ?No one can ever seem to answer this question.

What you said was just common sense and didn't answer Bandita's question at all. If go buy a CD at a store, it's worth what I paid for it, according to you.  Everything is worth what you paid for it, right? So how the hell does that answer Bandita's question as to why silver pressed bootlegs are so special? It's not because they cost 10$ more than a regular CD.

Right I understand this.  But in effect it is just a real BOOTLEG.  Not anything official, so why would it have more worth than another?

Paying money for something doesn't make it a better recording, IMO.

I mean the inserts are not official either.  They are simply made by a bootlegging company instead of a fan.

Because IF it is the same as downloading the files for free (which I dont know if it is or not) then buying them does not make any sense and you'd have to be totally out of your mind to do it.
So they are asking if the files on silver discs are better quality than just downloading them? YOU are not understanding there question.

Except it went through a pressing mill and some bootleg company added some artwork.
