Well, not just the Axl songs but By Your Side and Falling Into You are amazing songs.

I agree, but I think "I'm Alive" is as good.

I'm Alive is as good as Falling Into you but By my Side is one of my fave songs of this century.

Its about his dad dying and I heard it right when mine did.. so it has super super meaning for me. hard for anything to top it.

Sebastian Bach: 'I'm Very Immature - I Haven't Progressed Much Past 14 Years'

10/17/2011

Sebastian Bach is best-known as the singer for Skid Row, a hair band from the ?80s that found fame with rock tracks like "18 And Life," "I Remember You" and "Youth Gone Wild."

Born in the Bahamas and raised in Canada, Bach looked like a star?he had great hair?and sounded like many of the other rock singers of the era, able to bring screams and fast tremolo to most of the songs he sang.

On Kicking & Screaming, his new solo album, he brings a different side of his artistry in songs like "I?m Alive" and "Lost In The Light," rock tracks to be sure but embodying melody and arrangements that pushes past the work he did on his earlier Angel Down album and that certainly stretches out from the Skid Row records several decades ago.

A surprisingly insightful and humorous character, the singer talks about the new record, old records, life on Skid Row and life on the television screen.

After almost a year, myself & Minnie Gupta have decided to go our separate ways. I wish Minnie all the best life has to offer & I want to thank her for helping me so much with the 'Kicking & Screaming' Album recording & for literally 'taking my hand & leading me through Hell'. Minnie will always have a special place in my heart & I will always remember our times together . "Where we go, we can never tell..."

I love Sebastian, but i can't believe he still has that Angel Down curtain on the shows... how ridiculous is that...he's basically burying his own new album...

If only it's a huge statement to his late father right? who passed away a few years ago and painted that. and Baz decided to put that painting as the coverart for Angel down. so I think it's beautiful!

Didn't know that, won't argue with that... but hardly anyone knows about that, and it doesn't make sense he's still using it

I think just about as many people who know it's a picture his father painted, know it's the cover for Angel Down.  As you said, not that many.  So I don't think it's all that ridiculous.  If he likes the picture, why not continue to use it?  It's not like he played to millions of fans in support of Angel Down and that picture became synonymous in the annals of rock and roll history.

A tribute to his late father.  I see no problem with it.
