That's not very rare, it's just the Australian version of it.

You want rare, try finding their original debut single with Dave Evans..."Can I Set Next To You Girl"  It was on ebay once for $350...I wish I could have gotten it then, but I didn't have the cash.

If you're an AC/DC fan, and you've never seen it, download the live 'Baby Please Don't Go' clip which has just been put up at

http://www.acdc-live.com/

It is (in my opinion) one of the truly great performances by any band ever caught on videotape. Pure raw energy.

According to a posting on the AC/DC fan site AC/DC Highway to Hell, it is rumored that AC/DC has completed editing video footage for a brand new double DVD set to be released September, which will contain one Bon Scott DVD and one Brian Johnson DVD of AC/DC live in concert. The band has also supposedly completed a new album which is scheduled for release January 2008, with a world tour to follow.

Back in December 2006, Albert Music boss Fifa Riccobono shot down reports that AC/DC had a new record titled "Strap It On" coming in 2007.

"I ran that past Mal (Young) some time ago and he said it was the first he'd heard of it, so I guess the answer no," she told Undercover News. "Also, there definitely is no release date scheduled as the album hasn't been recorded yet."

AC/DC leaders Malcolm and Angus Young have been writing material for a few years. In early 2005, singer Brian Johnson told Launch there was a lot of stuff to work with. "I think, and I might be speaking out of turn, but I think they're doing a double, with the amount of songs ? I've been over a couple of times with the boys and added ideas on 46 tunes we had, and they've been working since then!" he said.

Australia's Herald Sun daily newspaper published the following item in its May 6 edition (page 2 of the Sunday entertainment liftout):

"AC/DC will tour next year ? with plans to take the show to the Red Centre [region of Australia]. Concert industry sources at Coachella said AC/DC leader Angus Young wants to do major centres and has asked promoters to put Alice Springs [town in the Northern Territory of Australia] in the tour schedule. Asked about the significance of Alice Springs, Young says it's a gesture of giving back and he wants to take a major tour off the main road. The tour is likely to happen early next year."

As we await release, likely in 2008 of a new AC/DC album, word comes down that singer Brian Johnson and bass player Cliff Williams have recorded a new song  for the touring band they are currently with called Classic Rock Cares. The song is called "Chain Gang on the Road" and the charity group will perform it when they kick off a tour next Saturday in Fort Myers Florida. Classic Rock Cares is made up of Johnson and Williams, plus members of John Entwhistle's former band. The tour, which will also include Grand Funk's Mark Farner and Joe Lynn Turner of Deep Purple is specifically to raise money for The John Entwhistle Foundation, which provides free music education and instruments to underpriviledged children via the public library system.

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson recently spoke to DailyRecord.com about his participation in the Classic Rock Cares tour, which raises money for the John Entwistle Foundation. The Fort Myers, Fla.-based charity, which is primarily dedicated to promoting musical education for disadvantaged children, is named in memory of the legendary WHO bassist who died in 2002 at age 57 on the eve of the band's U.S. tour.

"We're not gonna change the world," admitted Johnson, "but it's a start. It's good to help (people in other lands), but sometimes, you gotta look at (what's happening) in your own country."

"Classic Rock Cares" is the collective handle of a group headlined by Johnson and his AC/DC bandmate, bassist Cliff Williams. They're joined by guitarist Mark Farner of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, former DEEP PURPLE/RAINBOW frontman Joe Lynn Turner, and JOHN ENTWISTLE BAND drummer Steve Luongo, who is the foundation's founder and executive director. According to Johnson, 59, there are few causes more worthy than this one.

"When you got nothing' you got nothing," he growls in a thick Australian accent. "We're not just talkin' money. We're talkin' pride and self-respect. Being in a band gives kids a sense of purpose. It's a wonderful thing when you're meetin' with guys and learnin' new songs instead of (getting in trouble)."

It's no secret the tour's major lure is a chance to see Johnson and Williams; it's been five years since AC/DC last hit the road. Johnson promises fans of the superstar hard-rock outfit won't be disappointed, as the set will include some AC/DC favorites as well as "four or five new songs."

"We're definitely doin' AC/DC, and trying to cram as many (tunes) in as possible," he offered. "We want to give people something to thank them for comin'. We want to prove we're making the effort. I haven't sung in anger in 5? years."

So, does this portend a full-blown AC/DC project anytime soon?

"Malcolm and Angus (Young, the brothers who are the group's co-founders and chief composers) are in the studio," he reported. "There's an album in the works, and a tour, too, I think. The boys are working' on something special. They don't want to do just another album."

Anyway, it's out on the 22nd over here.
