Why do they sell parafanillia covered in the old Gn'R logo? why not stick to the new image 2. We (as fans) have been led to believe that Axl has involvement in all things Gn'R as he like wants to protect the Gn'R image. If this is the case, then why does the official online shop sell some genuinally distasteful items. Here's a few examples of where I'm coming from. The Gn'R Watch  I can't quite remember the last time I got to see such an ugly watch. The Gn'R Flask  How tacky does this look. The Gn'R Dart-board  Where's the connect between Gn'R + Darts. And why the old logo? The Gn'R wall mounted clock  This looks like something you might spot in one those sea side shops that sells gifts thats one wants to recieve. The Gn'R baseball cap  How gross |

Redx, you made my lousy afternoon bearable with this thread.
I enjoy the music of the current and past GN'R lineups. It stops, very abruptly, there.
I mean, who buys that stuff? Perhaps they should offer a GN'R scrunchie with which one could tie back their nappy-ass waist-length hair after guzzling cooking sherry from that horrendous flask.

Maybe you should also have bought grndirect.com which was once the official store. Too bad most shirts and stuff look like shit... I like the new stuff (Chinese logos) but the classic GNR shirts were much cooler in 1992 then now. They probably think we'd buy anything. ... and ofcourse they should open the shop to people who don't live in the usa. Maybe start a European merch store like Velvet Revolver did. |
