as much as that would be interesting... i hope they dont. seriously. the media would tear them apart saying the old stuff shouldnt be touched (which it shouldnt) and god knows what else.

releasing their own, original material is the only way to go for now.

I still  think it  would be cool to have the re-recorded AFD as a bonus CD, the same thing that was implied  back in 2002.

what would make sense is a delux package in a fancy box, with a DVD of live songs (probably all the new material), an interview, music videos and bonus audio such as unreleased versions of mixes. That seems to be the standard.

has no one considered that CD is being 'delayed' because Axl wants to release "Chinese Democracy LIVE" on DVD at the same time?

The GN'R classics are just that.......classics.

The new members re-recordiing these classics are not going to make them better. This lineup needs to define themselves by releasing their own material, not by re-recording material that was written by Slash, Izzy, and Duff.

If you want to hear this band play AFD, go and catch a live show. Chinese Democracy needs to be something completely original.

I'll stick with my first post since joining and that is 3 c.d.s in 2 years.  2 new and 1 live and there may be a dvd too.  Being realistic I just hope for one and that would be fine.
