Hell yeah

To make 2 million under a label he would have to sell almost 2 million copies.

Imagine a studio album with vocals etc how much it will sell and make him.

I suspect we will find out. He doesn't seem to be in any rush to sign a new record deal with any major company.

He doesn't seem to be in any rush to sign a new record deal with any major company.

And why should he?

He knows that most of his fans are "Internet savvy". He can reach them by posting on his official site and they can get his music directly from him.

And he never liked labels. His experience with TVT was so bad in the first place.. It seems  he's always distrusted them after that. So why would he enslave himself again now he's found the way to make pretty good  money without involving any label?

He is doing what Prince pretty much started. U make a product, sell it to the fans at an inflated rate and make big time cash.

U then find an independent distributor, cut a good deal with them and they mass release it for u. If u have enough clout u can still get a video on the air etc and now with YouTube, video channels are almost irrelevant which is why they show TV shows now.

Prince released a couple internet only albums, one being the long wanted and mythical "Crysal Ball" and he ended up making around 10 million dollars on it.

Cool. I am interested to see how the Ghosts stuff will sound live. I wonder how many of the 36 songs will be performed lived too and who will be in the band? Since he disbanded the rock band version.

Finck is back love  love

I always thought nin is where he belonged.
Always enjoyed  Robin's playing, but It took until appereance of Aaron North til I fully learned to appreciate what Robin brings to live-nin.
Not saying Aaron was bad guitarist in some traditional way people usually  are bad guitarists; he just got it all wrong.

Robin is just tired of sitting on the couch while Axl waits for the record company to put put CD.

Aaron was Ok, but Finck is so much better. He is perfect for NIN, energy, skill, stage presence and his backing vocals/screams are a lot better than Aaron's.

Interesting line-up Trent came up with. Ally, Josh and Robin is a dream team. I'd love to see Jerome and Danny back though. Can't wait for the new tour.
