The greatest VR song ever. ?This song puts Fall to Pieces to shame. ?Makes Gravedancer look like a joke. ?And those are decent songs. ?This song, messages, is not decent. ?It is not good. ?It is fucking brilliant on all levels. ?This is the most GNR fan freindly VR song ever cause it lets the vocalist ?and lead guitar player shine so much just like on Estranged for instance. ?The two work beautifully together throught the song, like the outro to SCOM. ?Its like the theme or lyrics pushed Scott and Slash to higher level. ?This is what I expect from VR from now on. ?This is their potential. ?Its amazing. ?

Libertad in its current state, with Messages, Gas and $ Laugh, and Psycho Killer is a hell of an album. ?What if Wasted Hearts is this good too? ?

This album should have had 18 songs and it would have satisfied everybody.

This album really strikes the heart deep. If you don't get shivers up and down your ENTIRE body while listening to this then you have so soul or any recollection for the event of 9/11. Great points!  Not one person has bashed this song.  That speaks volumes.  I think this is one that doesn't have to grow on you.  It hits you right away!

D, I was certain this song would be on album like most of us including Duff.  Who could have trumped them?  Was it their plan to release it like this to drive up sales on itunes?!?!?!?!  Did they fear backlash from media for singing about a touchy subject?  Did they just want to put it out there so they didn't have to make donations or make money off it, but let us hear it? 

Regardless, this song is amazing.  And I agree, how do you not release YGNR as a single?  However, this song is a much better single song than YGNR.

Just think of the video that could have went along with it. Scenes of him leaving, entering the airport, saying goodbye to the family, the terrorists taking control of the plane and the look on his face, news shots of the planes hitting the towers, the nations reactions. I mean that would get props for years to come along with the song itself!!!
