Flee the scene...

« on: October 16, 2007, 11:06:12 AM »

Well,

Nada Surf just released a single from thier Feb release, they announced a title and track listing. Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo announced a Dec 11th release yesterday under Geffen. Singles for big albums being released in Novemeber have surfaced, including the Killers, Serj (From SOAD) and Pussifier (Maynard from Tool). I think CD's fate in 2007 has been sealed. Prove me wrong Axl or Jarmo, it isn't coming out this year.

This isn't the frustration thread, this isn't bitching. It's simply time we accept it's too late for '07 unless GN'R pulls a Radiohead. (By the way, the new Radiohead album is thier best since OK Computer)

Of course its sad that we dont see CD this year. But it will be good enough for me if Axl gives us a release date this year. To drawn our sorrow we can listen to Axl on 3 studio track in 6 weeks.(thats also good enough for me Wink)

I think DemocracyRose obviously meant a concrete date, finalized and official one and not tentative.
