Very cool news.  Also interesting report from Bach, that Chinese Democracy is "like 4" albums not just one.  Maybe we'll get the double disc after all  Cool

Nice to see Axl actually going into a studio and recording some stuff, even if it is not Guns stuff...

So, why can't we hear something about Chinese Democracy from the band? Axl should hire Bach as manager. Then we would get updates every time...

And I'll have to get me a copy of "Angel Down".

Anybody that's been waiting for Axl Rose to sing, when you put a CD in your iPod with Axl, November 20 I will give you one. It just goes to show that there's people in this business that aren't just motivated by business. For him to do that is an outrageous thing of friendship and? for once, I'm at a loss for words. [Laughs] I really can't believe that I get to have him on a record. As a rock fan? you know, I'm a fan of his voice, big time. And he's coming in like a razorblade on this shit ? screaming, dude. [Laughs]

Very cool...can't wait to hear this. ok

Holy Shit

That got me excited as hell.

I cannot wait to hear "Sorry"

That song sounds like its gonna be amazing just based on how Bach describes it.

Thats really awesome of Axl to do that and maybe that means CD is right around the corner......

Most interesting part:

Basically, the collaboration with me and Axl started when he asked me last December to sing on? I was at his house and he was playing me the new "Chinese Democracy" album ? actually, there's more than one; there's, like, four ? but he was playing a song called "Sorry", which is a very heavy, grinding kind of riff and we were partying and stuff and I started singing a high harmony on the chorus of this song and he flipped out, and he goes, "That sounds great." He goes, "I want you to sing that on the record." So in January, I went to Electric Lady [studios in New York City], and I sang the chorus of this song "Sorry", and it came out really, really amazing. So now that I'm finishing my record, just for the fun of it, when I got to L.A., I just texted Axl, I go, "Hey, dude, when are you gonna come and sing on my record?" I was just joking. [Laughs] I didn't think he would do that. But he never ceases to amaze me. And his response was, "When? Where? What time? Where is the studio? What time do you want me there?" I was, like, "You've gotta be fucking kidding me." I go, "Pinch me, I'm dreaming." So he came down on Tuesday night, I think, or Wednesday, and he sang? He sings two songs on the record. I don't wanna say which songs, really ? I don't know if I should or not ? but he sings two songs.

Yeah, that's crazy stuff, assuming it's accurate.  More than one, I can believe, but four?  Perhaps by "versions," he means with albums with the same or similar songs on it, but in a different order, or even with a few different tracks?

maybe we`ll get another album on that day as well....  it`s definitely a possibility, that baz waited for chinese democracy to arrive.

i won`t get my hopes up for a CD release date though, but being able to listen to axl singing on baz` album on november 20th is definitely exciting to me ok

Psychologically, you could consider this a reunion tour because I`ve managed to find enough pieces of my mind in order to be with you here tonight - - Axl Rose, Chicago 2002

I got the impression he meant there's like 4 discs worth of material that they have to choose from for the album

Sounds cool, cant wait to hear Axl on a completed studio production.

What did he mean, "there is like 4"?

4 new albums?

4 different versions of the one album?

4 new albums, wow, that would be magicical.

If GNR released 4 albums under the Chinese Democracy name, that would actually be a great idea to ease the burden that the album has become.

It is now this mythical album and will really need to be something memorable and exceptional to get over the first hurdle of making all the doubters and "ready to hate and ridicule" type of critic, actually ?sit back and say, "hang on mabye this is something special, mabye he hasnt took 10 years for nothing".

I dont know if I am wording this correctly, I just think no matter how good an album is, after all this time it needs to be a special release, not just a disc with 10 great songs on it.
Releasing 4 albums at once would blow people away and if they were all Chinese Democracy, then I would say CD was definently worth the long wait.

I'd rather have 4 new albums in 4 years, Chinese Democracy volume 1, 2, 3 and 4

4 albums at the same time would be huge, too big and hard to melt hihi it would take hours just to find your favourite songs and get into them all and shit

Well that is one problem I would love to have ok

I know what you mean though, it would be ace if the booklet had the promo shot for volume 2 and a release date, and same with the next one. The hype would be crazy on the build up to each album.

awesome news...seeing as Axl is on the first single, does anyone think that there might be a chance that he's going to be in the video aswell?

It would be so killer to hear them singing one of those songs live together  peace
