Certainly Stephenie Meyer is no Shakespeare... They are just books for entertaining, not one of them will become classics of literature! I say take them for what they are...  Smiley

Reminds me, I hate Shakespeare as well Wink

As well? I didn't mean to say I hate Shakespeare, I actually think he was simply amazing and I've read most of his stuff.

I love Shakespeare.  The only class I never cut in college was Shakespeare.  I even spent a summer abroad studying Shakespeare at the University of Warwick. My classmates and I were Royal Shakespeare groupies! Hey, I brought my fav actor at the time, Roger Allam, flowers and he kissed me on the lips. My lips tingled for 2 days.

Just recently finished reading The Lovely Bones, which fucking sucked. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I hated the book. It's an interesting premise--- girl is raped and killed, then narrates from heaven as she watches over her family and friends and how her death affects the community. But the writing was extremely poor, imo. Way too contrived, unreleastic characters, horrible dialogue. And it just gets embarrasingly stupid near the end. (Ghost sex? Especially when the "ghost" is a 14-year-old girl? C'mon.) One of the worst books I've read in a long time.

I tried to read that book, but I couldn't get past the first few chapters. I never finished it, and I never saw the movie.

Arrgh no I really don't like reading Shakespeare, or writing essays on his work. Just finished one on Hamlet. I'm so fed up of writing essays on tragic heros. Arthur Miller's plays as well. All lecturers/teachers seem to think, "I know what's never been done before! We can compare tragic heros in Arthur Miller's more modern play to tragic hero's in Shakespeare!" *Yawn*. Don't get me wrong I appreciate it ...might just be that I'm a little bored of it.

Also...Lady Ashba...I meant "as well" as in "as well as twilight"

A lot of drugs......

Makes you wonder how accurate it is. I'm sure the events happened in that order, or somewhat close.

Interesting read though.

Pillars of the Earth is fucking ace as is the sequel World Without End both by Ken Follett.

Aslo Last Light by Alex Scarrow and Infected by Scott Sigler is one of the sickest books I've read! In a good horror story kinda way
