The point is there is a world of difference between a criminal act like domestic abuse, and someone misrepresenting (either intentionally or unintentionally - and I never said I believed it was intentional).

My argument is biased because I see the distinction between justice being metered out in a criminal court and financial compensation being metered out in a civil court?  O.k.  If you say so

The lovely Tumshie Smillie from The News Team caught up with Slash in the Virgin Radio studios.

Slash has brought out a autobiography aptly titled ?Slash? which focuses on years of debauchery with the Guns N' Roses and every Rock star clich? imaginable including trashed hotel rooms, porn stars, prostitutes and drug overdoses.

Tumshie Smillie and Slash talked about getting drunk with Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, being a kleptomaniac and his idol Keith Moon.

On his night out with the action man ?Arnie? he said: ?Ooh he?s pretty funny really. I got drunk with him once. We just drank a lot of pepper nut schnapps at his house and I remember his wife not liking me very much, she thought I was a bad influence on Arnie as you call him?.

He continued: ?He?s not a bad guy. I have a lot of respect for him because he?s one of those guys that has managed to do anything he has aspired to. The fact that he decided to go into politics and now he?s a fucking governor!?

Listen to him talking about his autobiography, fatherhood, Velvet Revolver getting kicked out of Japan and NOT talking about Guns N' Roses any more!

I just listened to this and it was a way cool interview. It's pretty interesting how into his kids he seems to be. Who would have thought way back in the Gun's days that crazy rocker with the wild hair would be a mellow dad one day. Also interesting was when he was talking about VR doing great he seemed really sincere which to me means they probably are. There just seems to always be so many rumors going around about VR.

Jarmo ... I'm not bringing the Slash assault charges up because I'm not trying to have a battle of Gods like you are.  I know that those charges were brought ... but my point was to highlight something.

You know ... Axl might have been innocent.  That's not the point.  as JimBobTTD pointed out, I was merely trying to prove a point.  And Ali couldn't see past his need to argue Axl's defence, and lost the point.  JimBobTTD saw it.  It wasn't a 'who is better' ... but a 'who can't stop defending for the sake of defending'.

Please don't try and argue this post with me as you likely will want to ... there IS no argument to be had.  I was stating a point.  Not arguing.

That was a really vindictive thing for her to do. I guess Slash was willing to forget about it though, he still married her. I always wondered what happened (not that it's any of my business, I guess I'm just a little nosy) to cause such a bad fight.

slashs talks about lots of things as he is repeatedly in nikkis life during that year and is mentioned in his diaries so slash talks about that time and what he remembers.

They talk about when gnr supported them on tour, how slash duff and steven would always come to party but axl and izzy never joined and were usually nowhere to be seen. Nikki in his diaries back in 1987 seemed to dislike axl and called him a prick and said he has lead singers disease like vince.

However a sober nikki when writing in the present says he understood axl was trying to further the band and wanted to concentrate on that rather than partying. Theres all sorts, like slash pissing in nikkis bed various times when he was drunk LOL. Theres also a funny story of duff bumping into nikki in a hallway with just his boxers and cowboy boots on because some groupies stole duffs clothes the night before haha!
