*click* on the PROFILE button (located under the "Search" feature)
in the next screen, on the left side of the page, you'll see three headings:
Profile Info
Modify Profile
Actions
under the word Actions *click* on the words Delete this account
a window should pop up (you may have to turned off your pop-up blocker) that says something like "Are you sure you want to delete this account?"
*click* YES
*signed* NY YANKEES fan
