Mine is #303 standing area!!! ok

There is no area #303... that is your ticket number. Read below for an explanation for anybody who wants to know where they are Tongue

At the top left of the ticket stub, or at the beginning og the line with your ticket number on it, you will see 가구역 or 나구역. Now... look at the map above. 구역 is the left,구역 is the right. Your ticket number tells you which pen you will be in. 303번 means you are in the front pen, but what side you are on depends on the 가/나.

If you have the right hand side (나구역) then this is a small board... I have tickets 301 and 302 Cheesy

Any out of towners coming in, keep an eye on the Seoul thread this weekend. There is not much to do outside Olympic Park, but 1 subway station up (around 15-20 mins slow walk) there are lots of bars and restaurants. My office is opposite the stadium, so I will carry a camera tomorrow and photograph an easy route to walk along so you know where to go to find food and drink before the show Wink

Guns 'N Roses to play next week, with million NT$ of fireworks

American hard rock band Guns 'N Roses will visit Taiwan for the first time in 24 years since their debut,
to play in Panciao Studium at 12/11. Their stage request list are incredibly long, including a huge set of fireworks.

Guns 'N roses request to have arena fireworks in the likes of National Sports Game, all import from the US,
took the promoter one month to pass the customs, costs million NT$. Also requests LCD, computer controlled stage lights, the amount has exceeded all Taiwanese stage companies can supply, it's a tough work for the promoters. However, the ticket sales has reached 18,000, NT$ 450,000,000 in total as reported.

The backstage dressing room requirement is also impressive, it beats every foreign artist that ever visits Taiwan.
The lead singer Axl Rose requsts a dressing room with nice furniture, carpets, a set of love seat, 6 adjustable lights,
noted "Very Important!". With a name of the word "rose" , Axl also requests 18 each of fresh white and red roses to be set
in his room, vanilla flavored candles, black and red are the only colors permitted in the room setting.

The food supply is not easy ,too. The type and size of cups are listed, also the tableware must be  all silver ,with assorted vegetables and fruits, low-fat sauces. The food list including bananas, plums, red apples, green apples, grapes, strawberries,
water melons, pineapples, grapefruits, oranges and severals of others.

Different stadium as far as I know.

And those capacity numbers are often listed for sports, for example football/soccer games.

Still, that's great news. Smiley

They would have to block off a load of the stadium for the stage etc

18k sounds pretty good with a week to go.

Axl's diva demands are amusing BTW, Wonder what Hetfield would think  Grin

Diva?

Looks pretty regular to me.

If you had the choice, would you eat with plastic forks or not?

Fruit is "not easy"?

Seems to me like the writer is unaware of how these things work. Most artists would ask for similar things.

And if a promoter can't get you red apples, what are the odds that they can provide you with the electricity needed, or something else related to the show....

"The backstage dressing room requirement is also impressive, it beats every foreign artist that ever visits Taiwan."

I'm not slamming Axl, he deserves everything he requests.

Sounds like he's bringing it all with these up and coming shows.

I'm using "Diva" as a joke, not an insult.

I don't know who's played in Taiwan before....

But if they think asking for silver tableware, flowers, fruit and candles is special, they'll learn soon enough that it's not. If Taiwan gets more big acts after GN'R.

FYI, the official description of Panciao Stadium capacity is 30,000, plus 800 vip seats.

Yeah, but isn't that for football, without a huge stage on the field....?

haha,
some of them includeing Megadeth, Skid Row(old and new) , Micheal Jackson, Oasis, 50 cents, Black eyed peas, Kyrie Minogue...

As  I also worked in the music industry,
I'd rather think that's a bit of exaggerated description from the journalist.

Yes, it is.
What I see is , without much media coverage,
the sales are performing very good here.

I'm letting the others know the actual capacity,
