There's no pre-show planned for this show, but if anybody wants to meet up at the show, just say so.

I'm sure we can figure something out.

Well, I'm pretty much a lurker here -- though my posts about Japan stuff seem to make it over here from time to time.  Grin

I'll be at this show next Saturday.  Anybody up for some food or drinks beforehand, let me know.  More the merrier!

I was thinking of going out early and getting a late lunch.  Planned to go to Bubba Bump Shirmp for some seafood and drinks, but I'm open to anything.  I've heard that the Ballpark Cafe is pretty good.

Certainly with a name like suntorytime, you're up for a drink or two?  Smiley

Would love to meet up with some other fans!

I guess that was my fault.  My friend said the place is called Ballpark Cafe, but it was actually Baseball Cafe.  Sorry!

Still, we got to see one hell of a show!

I'm talking about the bootleg here, but...

This has to be as good a show as the band has done since 2000, and there's been some great ones. One thing I'm curious about with this Japanese tour is whether any older fans/more casual fans complained about the old material being marginalized in favor of C.D. songs?

This really is a pivotal time for the band, where the new really has come to the forefront. From the boot, it sounds like the new stuff went down very well.

That thing can be said about any concert.

I'm sure some might prefer them to play more old songs and/or their favorite old song(s), but they also know that the tour is in support of the latest album.

There's no guarantee that by performing less new songs you'll get other songs in their place...
