I like DJ's playing much better than Robin's. DJ just fits GNR better IMO. But in all honesty I think he needs to practice those Robin solos a bit more, cause he hasn't got the bendind just right yet. Other than that it's all good.  smoking

Every time I watch another video of DJ playing from this tour I find myself getting more and more impressed!

I have the Beautiful Creatures self-titled album (I've had it for years), but I have to admit that I haven't really given it a 'proper' listen... I shall have to put it on the MP3 player and give it the attention it so clearly deserves!

It'll be interesting to hear what DJ and Axl come up with together on forthcoming albums... In fact, I can't wait!

While I'm waiting for the concert in Helsinki on June 5th, I've watched lots of live clips on youtube and also a couple of bootleg DVDs and i must say that DJ Ashba FUCKING ROCKS!!!!!!  beer Forget what I said earlier, this guy can nail Slash's stuff as wells as Robin's. The Ballad Of Death is just Pure Awesomeness! Finally GNR has the best lineup they had since the original 5!  smoking

You're very welcome DJ.  Wink I think it's beyond cool that you take time to interact with fans here, on Facebook and other forums, shows your appreciation of your fans.  Smiley

P.S. I'd like to ask you a question, if you don't mind: have you guys been rehearsing any songs for the european leg of the tour, that haven't been performed yet? If you played some stuff off UYI, like Estranged, Coma or Civil War, I'd probably cream my pants, haha!   Grin

Among the three, I think Estranged would be more likely (just because Axl said so and Ron hinted on his solo spot).

Yeah, that's the same impression I got. Smiley

DJ, it's really good of you to take the time to say a few comments to the fans.

I'm sure you have realised by now, just how different GN'R fans are, we are like a family. And you deserve all the positive comments and good vibes, you have been really kind to the fans.

Can't wait to see you live again this summer, you rocked in Toronto.
