Just got another Direct Message from SLash *HAHA i am like a teenage girl, i still get so excited haha* anyhow I asked if he was bringing the tour to Atlanta, he said no on the "quick run" but definitely on the 2nd leg

wonder what he will do for a singer once Myles goes back to AB?

I get the impression that Myles is coming back for more touring at some point next year even after AB releases their album. I could be wrong, but I think they have mentioned something in one of their interviews about finding a way to make that work.

I frankly have no where near the interest level in a Slash show with someone like Franky Perez doing vocals that I do with Myles, so I hope they do find a way for him to come back during/after the AB album for some more touring.

Slash plans on Myles being with him for the complete tour. The AB tour will be a short tour. Smiley

That makes for an awesome show though. He seems very realistic about crowd sizes for the most part, and more than 1500 seats would probably be overkill. Just make sure you get your tickets early if you're going.

I will go, unless he announces a Birmingham show... Hell, he is playing a lot of towns smaller than Birmingham.  Anyway, yes, lets meet up if I go!

Sept. 11 - Belleville, ON - Empire Theater
Sept. 14 - New York, NY - Terminal 5

And anything GnR related sells out quickly in NYC Cry
GnR, VR, and I'm guessing Slash

SLASH: North American Tour Dates Announced - June 23, 2010

Legendary guitarist Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) has announced the following North American tour dates:

Aug. 29 - San Francisco, CA - The Warfield Theater
Aug. 31 - Aspen, CO - Belly Up
Sep. 01 - Denver, CO - Ogden
Sep. 02 - Kansas City, MO - Voodoo Lounge
Sep. 04 - Mount Pleasant, MI - Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort
Sep. 05 - Milwaukee, WI - Pabst Theater
Sep. 06 - Clear Lake, IA - Surf Ballroom
Sep. 08 - Chicago, IL - Riviera Theater
Sep. 09 - Windsor, ON - Caesars Windsors ? The Colosseum
Sep. 10 - Toronto, ON - Kool Haus
Sep. 11 - Belleville, ON - Empire Theater
Sep. 14 - New York, NY - Terminal 5
Sep. 15 - Boston, MA - House of Blues
Sep. 18 - Norfolk, VA - The Norva
Sep. 20 - Atlanta, GA - Center Stage
Sep. 22 - Council Bluffs, IA - Harrah's ? Stir Cove
Sep. 23 - Medina, MN - Medina Entertainment Center
Oct. 02 - Seattle, WA - Showbox at the Market

Slash is incorporating songs from his entire career into his solo tour, including material from GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER, SLASH'S SNAKEPIT and his new solo album. The guitarist told The Pulse of Radio he can do that thanks to ALTER BRIDGE's Myles Kennedy, who's handling lead vocals on the trek. "The tour's gonna be comprised of some GUNS stuff and some VELVET stuff and some SNAKEPIT, and then also songs off the record," Slash said. "He's such an amazing vocalist, so he can cover all that, he can handle all that 'cause he's got a great range. So I'm really excited, 'cause before I talked to him, I was sort of auditioning singers for this tour and I figured I'd get it together, but he's just, he's so perfect."

February supposedly.

You've got to see it as a good sign that they Myles is coming back so soon even with AB releasing a new album because for any reason he was tired of Slash or just wasn't enjoying working with him the AB thing would have been the perfect excuse to call their partnership quits.

I think if anything, AB is gonna call it quits after this album is released and they finish touring it, whenever that will be

I read somewhere that he is really enjoying playing w slash and the material lets him use his full vocal range; though i haven't paid much attention to AB due to the fact of the x-creed members and creed never did anything for me

small venues are much better in my opinion, at least for those who get tickets. the entireexperienceis much better than in the big stadiums when audio and visual can be poor. so I am excited about a tour of small venues.
