nge that you cannot pick you seats in that section when you use the map on LN (which is an awesome feature!).

for GnR, seats would be perfect. one problem with that pit is that it tends to get really packed at times. i think cause it's so easy to sneak in there so there's way more people than actually belong. seats eliminates that problem.

not in Camden, it is pretty hard to sneak into the pit.  The pit fans have their own entrance, and wristbands AND tickets get checked everytime you go in or out.  Even hours into the show.

people just hop the fence from the seating area. i've seen it done several times. it's fairly easy from sections 100 and 104. for slayer/megadeth in 2010, i sat in in 100, row A, seat 7. there were people standing right in front of me because there is some extra space there. i politely asked him to leave and things got nasty real fast. i couldn't find a security guy anywhere to help. ended up getting into a major argument with this guy. him and his 2 friends eventually just hopped into the pit.

hmm strange..cause security was all over it at most shows I go to.  Guess you never know till the show.

How is the view at this place? I am in about 9 rows back in section 104, and I am seats 1 and 2 on the aisle stage side. Will I have a good view ?

I've never been in the seating area at this venue, just the lawn, but i've heard from other people there's not really a bad seat when they close off the lawn area. I think you'll be fine in the 100 section.

here's a pic of the SBC. this is taken from the back of section 102. you can see how this setup they have green seats in PIT area. if that is GA those will be removed and there will be a gate put up separating the PIT from the first row of the 100 section.

on the left you can see the aisle separating 102 from 101. you cannot see sections 100 and 104 in this pic. those sections are not bad, but you definitley want to be on the stage side of those sections, because as you can tell, those sections are really off to the side. i'm not a fan of the view over there because it kinda feels far from the stage, especially since it is not really raised very much. but overall, nothing that would be considered a bad seat in the house.

and the first few rows of 202 are awesome as well because you are dead center and raised a little bit (basically right behind where this picture was taken from).

Thanks for that picture! I was already excited about the show, but now i really can't wait! I have pit "seats"  (the people i'm goin with have the same attitude as me -- don't really care if there are seats or not for this show, either way we're gonna be fuckin close!)

GnR-NOW - Yes, those seats will be very good. there really isn't a bad seat in there. sections 100 and 104 are VERY wide. and if you are near the sides, in my own personal opinion, you feel far from the stage with just an ok view of it.

for indoor shows, which this is, the place holds about 7,000.

i have been told by a rep from the venue that there will be no seats in the PIT for this show. that is the usual set up for most shows i have attended there.

Stub Hub for $130 each, so they are almost face value  ok . I can't believe how much people jack up the ticket prices on there....

that's not bad. face would have been $110, so for an extra $20 you are getting some of the best seats in the house.

i was just checking broker sites. its amazing how many they say they have, and all the broker sites have the same tix advertised. a good friend of mine used to work for a broker and i was familiar with the whole process, but i'm not sure how they run their business these days.

i have 2-4 extra tix i will be putting on StubHub at some point. Just figured i would post in here so i could sell them to a die-hard.

section 101
row L.
$85 each

great seats about 10 rows back near the center. i paid about $110 ($95 face + fees). So i'm just trying to get most of my money back.

so if you know anyone that might be interested, please let me know. these are better and cheaper than what you could get anywhere else. thanks!  ok

Looks like ticket sales for this show have started to pick up. I keep checking Live Nation and see the seat chart, and a lot of seats have disappeared from a week ago

really? awesome! cause i checked about a week ago and it looked almost exactly the same. glad to hear.

over the weekend, i got 4 texts from friends that heard Jim Florentine on WMMR talking about the Axl interview. He was on with Preston and Steve and they are probably the most popular morning show in Philly. he had nothing but positive things to say so that was all good press.

i also just read that Trunk did a bunch of press today to talk about the Axl interview (Rolling Stone, Boston Globe, and others) so that will be well publicized. I think that interview will help ticket sales. the timing of it is perfect.

so anyway, there is definitely a buzz growing. GnR's name and this tour is getting out there big time.
