Oh - yeah, the drive there shouldn't be so bad - 'Hawks/Blues starts at 2pm, so I'll have it on WGN Radio the whole way up!  I was originally supposed to be at the UC for the game, but as soon as GNR was announced - I nixed that.  Priorities, you see...Priorities!!

Theres a dress code?

Dress Code Reminder   Return to Top

Foundation Room? dress code is business casual. Jeans can be worn, but must not be torn, faded or oversized and should be worn with a collared shirt or a blazer. T-shirts, sweatshirts, sandals, hats, shorts and torn clothing are not allowed. From time to time you may see celebrities and touring talent outside the dress code, but these occasions are rare and exceptions will be judicious.

Ok, just called HoB to Clarify - the guy I spoke with said there is a dress code, but since it's GNR it's going to be a little lax.  He said typically it's business casual - you'll just want to be somewhat presentable.  T-Shirts should be fine.  I think I might play it safe and still just wear my button up.

My friend just sent me this about the foundation room

Well, man. After seeing the tripe about dress code at HTGTH, I walked over to HOB just to check on it. According to the gatekeeper, who asked the bossman, the dress code will be in full effect tomorrow night. No tees or sneakers allowed.
this blows

I know this has nothing whatsoever to do with GN'R or their show, but I'd just like to say that this whole "dress code" thing blows. Whatever blows their pretentious skirt up I guess.

Oh well, I set out to enjoy a GN'R show and that's what I'm gonna do  beer

You could wear a nice thermal knit. Nordstrom Rack on State Street is having some good sales right now. ok

I am wearing embroidered jeans with a sleeveless cashmere sweater and arm warmers that really flatter Hello Axl's complexion. hihi

BTW There is a pic of a Hello Kitty/ KISS collaboration on www.hellokittyhell.com

Hello Axl is so much cuter than Hello Gene. hihi

Glad you cleared that up about dress code, I was tempted to wear a t.  I may still wear my leather with jean jacket vest over it...where are the cost checks upstairs?

So I got into town yesterday, found a bar near where I'm staying. Got loaded, don't remember leaving the bar, but I woke up in the right place. Now I'm awake and ready to roll. Smiley Meeting some friends at 3, but I don't know what to do until then. Maybe I'll check out the planetarium.

If youve never been there and it's open, Museum of Science and Industry is cool.  Last time I was in town they had a Dr Suess exhibit.
