Im glad im going to the Bulls game in a few hours to keep my mind off GNR for a bit lol,
im very fuckin excited for this, and the Streaming just added another mountain of anxiety for me, ugh what will they play!!!!

I sat 7 rows off the ice at Joe Lewis Arena last night watching the Red Wings continue to build on their NHL record of (now 22) consecutive home wins and my mind was STILL on GN'R 

oh nice lol, the hawks finally won a game.
Im looking forward to meeting people also, but without having nametags on its impossible to recognize who people are lol

I'll be the fat guy with Eddie Van Halen Converse shoes on lol. I'm picking up ereeper on my way through part of Michigan around 1:30 and we're heading that way. With the time change, I'm thinking we'll be outside the venue by like 4pm or so. I'm beyond excited and expecting an atmosphere like that of the NYC/Hammerstein so I'm sure we'll all be able to find each other pretty easy.

Electric did you already get rid of your original ticket? I'm looking to trade a first row balcony GA for a Floor GA! I recently purchased a ticket for my friend and the broker failed to mention it was in the balcony GA
I guess my plan of attack is to try and trade it with a scalper

I'm driving over from and straight back to Detroit so I think I'll have to leave right after the show. But I may try to catch up to some of the guys (and of course hopefully Axl) in Detroit on Tuesday.

Yeah, I'm driving straight back to Rock Island after the show as well, but I figure with the access to foundation room - I wont ever have another good shot at meeting Axl, so I'm hanging out for awhile.  I told my Girlfriend I'd probably be home before she had to leave for work, which is between 730-800am, and it's a 3 hour drive.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone as well.  I've made some great friends over the years online.  I actually moved to the Chicago area for a year because I've got so many great friends up that way that I met through the Megadeth forums back in the day.  Actually, the guy I'm giving my ticket to is one of them!  The only reason I moved back to the other side of the state is Cost of Living.  $1100 for a 2BR apt an hour outside the city...and 3 hours outside the city, I'm paying $625.  Trade off is a hell of a long drive when something cool comes to town!
