flu or whatever sickness. it sucks.
and Axl just posted that on twitter with no cancellation or whatever so the show goes ahead... might be a bit under 3 hours, but they said he was sick on saturday and that show was f*cking epic! so anything can happen

In this case I'm glad.  I'm driving up from columbus and don't even plan on leaving until 7.  That should still get me there with plenty of time left before they go on.

Yeah, doors are at 9. If you have the Gold VIP you have to pick up your ticket at will call after 7. Unfortunately, the lineaments won't be available. The guy I talked to said they are sending it via mail and it should arrive by March(Bummer!). On another note, I'm pretty sure this is Guns first ever show in downtown Detroit so I'm pretty fired up!!

GN'R had played the same venue in 1987 (they were opening up for the Cult)

I hope Axl feels better, the show goes on, and everyone has a great and safe time.

Cancellations suck; unfortunately I have been through Vancouver 2002 and Albany 2011.  Sickness though is always a legit excuse though obviously!  I just feel for whoever is traveling from previous experience.
Don't want to get too far ahead, but I am traveling from NYC to AC on Friday for the show.  First and foremost I hope Axl feels much better by then. But if he has to cancel, I hope he does it by noon on Friday as I'll be leaving from NYC for AC by then.  Hitching a ride too so I really hope it all works out.

Have a great show tonight, kids!
