I posted a suggestion on the forum a couple of days ago. Basically asking if there was any chance of putting up some live videos taken from the camera teams that film every show.

Jarmo, do you know if they record the shows or is it strictly live footage for the screens at the concert?

I do remember GNR putting up some songs on youtube from a South American concert a while back. That was filmed by the camera crew.


I haven't frequented that forum in a long while, but it seems kinda dead, are there even any active moderators that would read my request? I saw Fernando post there some days ago.

Without knowing all the details regarding contracts and so on, I don't know how possible this is. Sorry...

Yes, that's footage from the camera team operating the concert. Not sure if they recorded the line feed just on this one occasion, hopefully I'll get a reply to my question on the GNR forum.  Smiley

My suggestion came because I thought it would have been cool to see some videos from concerts that we haven't seen before. Not necessarily just the most recent shows, but maybe some videos from 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007 as well.

Videos from the 2009/2010 shows would also have been cool.


The production will obviously not be the same as the commercial releases, but it's way better than an audience shot youtube video. Especially if the audio is soundboard.

I think there was some kind of broadcast of the 2011 La Plata show since a bunch of clips exist.

I don't know if the video is recorded/archived at every show.
