I'm attending this one as well... 2nd closest city to me out of the UK shows, with Birmingham being my hometown of course.

I'm going to try to meet a fellow board member, but I was saying the arena is kind of away from any bars or cool meeting places. That's what I remember vividly from the 2006 show, but we can try I suppose.  Undecided

Well apparently there's a "hooters" bar close by and also a "rock" pub called "the old angel" near the areana ?

I think the arena is in the town centre, should be plenty of bars ?

Bars around a 10 minute walk from the arena that are 'rock' or have a jukebox with rock on.

Old Angel - no food but closest to venue

Pit & Pendulum - Biggest of the 4 bar next closest, used to have 2 meals for ?8 not sure if it still does.
 
Tap & Tumbler - Small but has always been a place where people go prior to gigs. Quite a few 'older' bands Motorhead etc, have gone drinking here after gigs.

Horn In Hand (Scream bar) - cheapish food and drink with a decent jukebox.
