Crazy to think about: in three years time, it has been just as long since the release of Chinese as the space between TSI and Chinese.
Yeah, seems funny cause the band was super active in the 10s, but its the only decade without a album.

Of course, it's natural with almost all bands/artists that releases tend to space out further as they get older, whether due to less inspiration or just wanting to enjoy life outside their career more. But of course, this isn't most bands either. It's funny to think though, that they had no problem dropping lots of stuff in between full albums back in the day; Live like a Suicide, GNR Lies and Spaghetti kept about a year between releases until suddenly in 1994, everything changed. It is indeed strange that Axl abandoned even releasing CD leftovers to tide fans over.

Yes. Agreed!

Unfortunately things didn't go as planned this month. This global crisis has affected everyone, including the band. The Latin American tour got postponed.
But I haven't ruled out 2020 yet.

I think GNR will wait to 2021 to release an album, with the coronavirus has destroyed their plans for 2020.  I think the eruopean and north America tour dates will be pushed back to next year.  See what happens but the coronavirus is getting bad in USA. beer

Roger waters, who plays philly two days after Guns just postponed his whole tour. So I guess we will see how this goes with the Guns camp. If tickets are honored at a later date I’m totally fine with a reschedule but I’m sure there’s so much planning that has to be figured out in order to sort out those details.

Nope. I'm surprised they haven't been cancelled yet really.

Seems a matter of time.

Even if we are let out some time in June, how anxious will people be to cram in tight with 45,000 other people just a few weeks later?

...not to mention the suggested 'second wave' that many predict.

They're talking in terms of six months now in the UK. I wouldn't buy a ticket for any concert or performance this year, personally, as I think even those at the end of the year may not happen.

See how it goes of course, but I'm very surprised some bands are rescheduling things for August and September given what we're told.

They extended social distancing to April 30 in the USA.  Trump pushed back to June 1 before opening everything back up.  I think any day the tour will get postponed to 2021.

I’m hoping the London show doesn’t go ahead in May because I wouldn’t risk going to it now.

It will not. I believe the current advice to health providers in the UK is a relaxation third or fourth week of June onwards. The Euro tour will not happen.

Godsmack/Halestorm was supposed to happen on  April 24th. I now have to wait a year to attend their concert. It's been postponed until April 23rd, 2021. I'm hoping we can get through this and that Bon Jovi and GNR have their concerts. I'm seeing both that same week in July at Prudential Center and MetLife.  If one postpones then I'm assuming the other one will do so as well.

That’s pretty optimistic since they are basically happening in the worst area of the outbreak in the states.

Yeah, definitely. I'd be very surprised if we see any major tours happening anywhere before the end of the year really.

I know. I'm trying to be optimistic given the fact that my area has been hit VERY hard by the virus. Governor Murphy has ordered refrigerated trucks to store dead bodies.  I'm trying to hold on to some type of hope.
