Guns N' Roses ‏@gunsnroses
UK, London @IzzyStradlin O2 folks we had a blast! many thanks for many things and the jolly Good Times. Time to Tally HO!

so i guess that twitter account for izzy is official  Shocked

That acount isn't Izzy's.. he has no Twitter, also confirmed by Duff. It's not the first time someone's Tweeting to some Izzy link without knowing it's not him Tongue

The other day there was a big Izzy Stradlin Twitter site, people all thought it was real so it got the verified status, but in reality it was really fake.

thanks for clearing that up for me... i had a feeling it was too good to be true

that would be awesome to see Tommy at a bar or on the street. What songs did he play?

I remember he did 'Light of Day', 'Zero to Stupid', 'Match Made in Hell', 'Friday Night Is Killing Me' and a load of others. He and his buddy Matt Ryder (local musician) also tried and failed to do 'Alex Chilton'.

A splendid time was had by all, and he raised a few bob for Timaktec School in Haiti as well . (sse Timaktec.org).

Looks like the o2 gig last night was awesome - I'm so pleased that you all got to see Izzy. These shows would make a hell of a great DVD.

I presume they started a bit earlier last night considering they played the entire set (except for Dead Flowers added the previous night)?

Just got in after a mad night travelling home. This show was awesome! Thin Lizzy were great, and got the crowd going. Fortus joined them on stage. They played over an hour and finished at around 9:30 I think.
Guns started at around 10:45 and finished about 2am  Smiley. The whole thing blew me away! Icing on the cake was Izzy appearing. He came on for 14 Years, YCBM, Nightrain, Knocking on Heavens Door, half of Patience and PC. All the guys seemed happy to have him there, and it was great to see him and Axl together. Axl sounded awesome and was in good spirits, laughing and joking around despite him and Tommy warning some dicks who were throwing drinks/coins a couple of times. Everyone else in the band was on fire too! DJ is like a man possessed! He came into my part of the crowd during Nightrain before going into the disabled area. Katarina is ridiculously hot, and seemed to get loads of good shots of the band. She stood out more than the "models" brought to the front in the second half of the show. Not sure why they were there to be honest.
My highlights were Estranged, Nightrain and Shacklers.
No problem at all with transport afterwards, free bus to Charlton station, free train into central London, job done!
Can't say enough good things about the whole experience, so time to stop raving and finally get some sleep.

Are we expecting a big surprise on Sunday or do we might get spoiled in Rotterdam on Monday ;-) ok

Edit: Oh right my mistake, It might have something to do with the Queen of UK ...

just wondering, haven't really thought about it in a while but this excellent Izzy appearance made me think -

What is 14 years about anyway?  a relationship breakup or maybe the relationship between Axl/Izzy?

I could have sworn I read that  14 Years is a song based on Izzy's relationship with his father.
