I'm in the USA and bought mine from Amazon.

The plain regular DVD has a rectangle with the letters NTSC inside.  Next to that is an oval with the word ALL written over a world map.

The 3D Blu-ray does NOT have the rectangle with the NTSC in it.  It ONLY has the oval with the ALL written over the world map.

Hope that helps.

I have to say this is the best damn bluray, concert, movie I've ever seen!!! On the bluray I did not notice any sync problems whatsoever.

It is so good I'm throwing out my 1992 DVD's in the garbage. They are embarrassing (not because of Axl) compared to this recent release.

Oh good lord.  Why not just give it away?

I'm sure there are plenty of non-melodramatic-extremist fans that appreciate all the eras of GNR who would love to have this but for whatever reason aren't able to purchase it.

Offer it up.

After watching the new bluray comparing it to the 92 DVD's, it's like the songs are not even the same.

the way they are played now sounds much tighter and more professional.

I find this strange also...Saul is all over the place in songs he didn't even write.

Saul wasn't even in the fuckin band when they wrote Don't Cry.

The label must have something to do with this....

Maybe it's not actual writing credits, but more of a business thing?

Is it safe to say the label and/or a certain former member is behind this?

Maybe that's why Axl didn't want this out?

Well if it's actual writing credits, why did it take from 1991 until today to fix it?
I'm still suspecting it's got more to do with business than creativity and who wrote what....

Agreed. And who is this John Fink guy who ''wrote'' chinese?

And credits are in alphabetical order, in the albums they are in ''who wrote the most'' order.
So it gives the impression that Slash wrote most of November rain then duff ect. Which is bs.

Politics politics.

Rock Fuel made a good release no matter what.

Agreed that it gives Saul much more writing credit than he actually deserves....something is fishy here...none the less the bluray is epic!

Do the credits in any way hinder your enjoyment of the show?  You said the bluray is epic so I'm assuming the credits do not have any impact on your viewing of the show.  Who cares how or why the credits were printed up the way they were?

I kinda care who wrote my fav songs. Sorry. Embarrassed

The movie is still Amazing.

Now that i have seen it twice, i could share my piece of criticism.

The cuts are a little too large, by that i mean that the songs are squeezed together too much especially in the latter part of the movie. When youre still recovering from a song Nightrain for example, Used to love her starts immediately after it, with different guitars and clothes ect. That happens a couple times. So including the between song breaks wouldnt hurt i think.

Other than that im really happy with it. Im a happy fan. Smiley

I kinda agree with this.  There is the writing at the time of recording and in want of a better phrase " a post actual writing, commercial evaluated re-visit to what each member actually added to the track"

The point being, without doubt, each member listed as a writer added value to the track, a track that which now is iconic and being sold via this DVD. Why shouldn't the sound being reproduced by another (or not as the case may be) be rewarded appropriately.   My 2p's worth anyway.

I'm guessing the credits have to do with the licensing....

By the way, it's still in the top #3 on Billboard after four weeks.

Slash should have gotten a writing credit for 'Estranged' on the album 20 years ago, if you ask me.

What is that song without those guitar parts?  Well, we know, don't we?  We've all heard the piano demo.

Looks like my post with the youtube-link got deleted. Well anyway, I watched the whole thing on youtube and based on that I will definitely be buying a copy as soon as I can cough up the dough. The band is in excellent form and even though Axl sounds a bit rough at times, he gives a good performance. The pole dancers were a nice touch. Cheesy

I was and still am a fan of the original lineup, but having finally heard and seen a properly mixed concert recording without drowned-out instruments, I have to say that there's absolutely no denying that the current lineup is indeed on par with the classic one. I never cared much for Buckethead and Robin IMO was a disaster as far as playing Slash's solos in concerned but the current guitarist trio of Bumble, Fortus and Ashba are a perfect combination. Frank Ferrer is an awesome drummer with a cool groove and Tommy brings that punk vibe, like Duff used to. Some of the ChiDem songs are fantastic and some..maybe not as much, but there definitely are gems there. So like I said, I will be buying this at some point and this release definitely gets my seal of approval.

Now for fuck's sake, don't make ne gap between CD and the next album another fifteen years!  Grin
