I re-registered the league last night.  Time flies.  So everyone who played last year(s) should have gotten an email asking to rejoin.  But here's another reminder just in case.  We've got 9 teams so far back in the fold.  Last year we had 14.  So far 5 from here have signed up, myself, D, Axl4Prez, Sober times, and sandman.  That leaves gillee (Estranged Eagles).  GNRevo had 8 members to our 6 last year.  I set the draft for the last possible day, the night before the season starts.  I wanted to give people enough time to sign up since I registered it so late.  If we fill our the league soon enough though I could try and move the date up.  I'd prefer to draft sometime next week, but we'll see how we do.

Thanks for the quick responses guys.  11 teams in now, waiting on 3 more from GNRevo from last year.  Of course we could play with 12 if one more guy signs up, but we'll wait it out.

I feel bad about grabbing 3 rings since 2007.  I should really share the wealth a little more.   Grin
2 rings in 6 years...not too shabby.

Has anybody considered asking the GNR band members if they'd like to join our fantasy football league?
'twould be pretty damn cool.

Years ago, I remember Finck sporting a Vikings shirt.
I think Axl would wait on quarterback and grab a fellow ginger like Andy Dalton.
Ashba would be all over a flashy, tatted player like Kapernick.

This has not been a good week for me in my main league.

First, I lose Julio Jones for the year. Now I've had my tie from last weekend reverted to a loss after a stat correction cost me two-tenths of a point.  rant

That sucks man.
I've only been involved with one game where the score was changed resulting in a change of loss to win.
I was on the good side.  Last season, for some strange reason, Arian Foster was credited with 13 extra rushing yards the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
On Thanksgiving Day morning, (a moment I still call The Thanksgiving Day Miracle), I woke up to find I won the last week's game by 1 point after having lost by 1 point!

Sucks to be Julio...
but nothing compares to the tragedy of Adrian Peterson's 2 year old.  That just makes me physically ill.   Cry

Ya wanna hear about bad luck?
My main league, 12-team league, head to head, 14 regular season weeks, 8 (yes, Cool teams make the playoffs.

My team puts up a league-leading 1,450 points (almost 104 per week) and the average score for all other teams per week was 92.1
I tied one other team for 100+ point weeks at 8.

I FINISHED 6-8!  I was the 9th seed and didn't make the playoffs!  UGH!!!

Every freakin' week it was like the team I played had their best week of the season.
I ended up having a league-leading # of points scored AGAINST me at 101 per week.  UGH.
 Cry
just needed to vent.

i've been there before man. It is frustrating. I've also had the opposite happen where my team is good but not great, but thrives against the competition, doing just enough to win.

I won my main league this year, first time in 12 years, after finishing 7-6 in 7th place. I did have the 2nd most overall points though. It's all about the matchups in fantasy. Things don't often make sense, nor are they fair.
