But it's still "classic" GNR - nobody knows who is in the band, and nobody give any information for fans.

In fairness, I think people have the information they need.

Axl Rose will be onstage singing the Guns N' Roses you have grown to love.  I'm not sure anyone really cares who is playing the music for him.

For instance, if DJ and Bumble were replaced tomorrow, would it really affect ticket sales?  I can't imagine it does.

Yeah, Tommy is going to be putting on the miles, huh?

As someone that hates flying because of the tedious airport process, I could never do it.

It's "classic" for you to assume something has changed unless you're told it hasn't.

Why not just chill with the assumptions until the band or the band member in question makes a statement? If they don't, why not just assume things are the same as they were before you started making assumptions...

That is correct.

If you asked most GNR fans to forecast the next few years, they would likely tell you that they will tour this year, take some time off, and then crank it back up on the road in 2016 sometime.

That would be the most likely scenario in the eyes of most.  It doesn't mean we are Nostradamus nor that things could change.  But that's your percentage play, that prediction.

el loko's statement might be silly

but one shouldnt question how the Bass player who has other gigs lined up at the same time is going to make it work ?

Sure, you can. But a simple Google search tells you that you can leave LAX on Saturday afternoon and be in La Paz on Sunday morning....
About 12 hours of travel. Still time to rest during the day.

According to Wikipedia, the venue in La Paz, Bolivia is at an altitude of 3,637 metres (11,932 feet) above sea level, which makes it one of the highest professional stadiums in the world.

Damn.  Think about that.  I've visited Colorado before...warm-ups before a volleyball match were no picnic.  The difference in oxygen was VERY noticeable in an area just a mile above sea level.
I can't imagine what it's like 2 miles above sea level!
The Denver Broncos play in the "Mile High" city (yes, now even higher after pot legalization  Grin ) and THAT drains athletes.  Now, La Paz puts Denver to shame at over TWO miles higher than sea level.
Wow.

GN'R has played in some high altitude places in the past, but La Paz is at the top... Fro example in 2010, Quito, Ecuador (2850m 9,350ft), Bogot?, Colombia (2625m 8,612ft) or in 2011 in Mexico City (2240m 7,350ft)...

That's today's geography lesson. Wink

Yeah that concert got cancelled. I'm from bolivia but where I live is not as high as La Paz. And I feel the difference when I go there. There's a pill that helps with altitude symptoms the name is "sorojchipill". Axl has to save his breath and not run as much  peace

Jose Norberto Flesch, from Destak newspaper, just said GNR is confirmed in Recife on April 15th and also in Fortaleza, date to be confirmed. It will be the first time GNR goes to Brazil's Northeast.

Cool! Shame I can't make it. Undecided
