Slash performs with Steven Tyler at Howard Stern's Birthday Bash

Gary Dell'abate told the story on air that Slash wanted to be part of the show but didn't think he could make it since he was on the other side of the world.  But apparently, Steven called him and convinced him to go and perform with him, Dave Grohl, and a host of others.  Howard also said that Slash gave him an autographed guitar after the show, which he much appreciated.

the show was professionally filmed, so Howard has said they need to figure out a way to share it with the public. So someday maybe.

the show has been online for a few months now. Great quality, but it's only up for 2 more days, then it goes in the vault. Of course I'm sure it'll still be accessible in some way, ie. YouTube. But check out Slash and Steven Tyler in Act 4. The footage closes with Slash giving Howard a signed guitar of his. Pretty sweet present!
