So the trailer for this just came out this week (and actually looks interesting).

What are the chances YCBM or another GN'R track makes the film? Honestly one of the better parts of Salvation was when YCBM kicked in - and Genisys seems all about nostalgia really. I don't expect it to feature much in the movie since it would be the third time, but as an easter egg it could be cool. Or a new song playing somewhere in the background.

Not sure. It worked once. What's to say history repeats?

Shackler's Revenge has a nice futuristic vibe that could work with a Terminator movie.

I'm not sure it would work either. The movie is supposed to go  further  back before the original terminator was sent.

The trailer looks bad.

Notice how the T1000 looks really fake and worse than it did in 1992. Some 22 years ago. That's pretty radical in itself.

Terminator Salvation was a poor movie but the GnR moment truthfully did get the blood flowing; a good scene. Regardless of whether you're a GnR fan. As well as the harvester scene and some of the shots of downtown LA. But all in all it was an insult.

Genisys seems "off" also.

But here's hoping.
