George, I'm not at all happy with your Mets performance this weekend against the Bucco's. Angry

So unhappy in fact I think you should watch this and go to bed without dinner damnit.

Ouch.  Proof that the world is cruel and unfair.

Very disgusted with the Bucs series.  3 very good performances by our starting pitchers and not 1 win.  Ridiculous.

Yeah really should have grabbed at last one game there... but hey.. at least the nationals have really tanked it.

I said when they made the Paps trade... that I just think that locker room is not right.

Agree about Paps in the locker room.

Yanks now have a 10 game home stand, and 46 left to play. They need to make some hay vs the Twins, Indians and (gulp!) Astros.

They have 27 at home and 19 on the road..but after this home stand, they'll, obviously, have 17 home and 19 away.

Still 7 more vs the jays, 4 of those at Yankee Stadium.

Son of a bitch, the Cards just placed Randal Grichuk on the DL with an elbow strain.

It was probably down to Matt Duffy and him most likely for NL ROY, (Pederson and Bryant have stunk since the ASB) damn.

This one hurts bad short term, fuck...

Hutch and loup both sent to the minors today.   Hutch looked great yesterday but with a 10 era on the road I am not surprised

Both will be back with the big team once the 40 man becomes available.

Hutch had a 12-2 record.  Ouch

Had him in my fantasy lineup tonight before I noticed he was DL'ed. Picked up Piscotty to fill in. Picked him over Beltran. Hope I made the right choice. I've got 4 guys on the DL right now, Kipnis should be coming off soon though, and Freeman isn't too far off.

Piscotty's a good pick up, doesn't K much and makes solid contact.

He's an everyday guy now, he'll help you out.

Beltran has taken over for Arod lately... Now we need Arod to start swinging it again. Looks like Tex will probably need a couple days.

I would expect the Jays to smash the Phillies, and Baltimore is cooking up.

Arods looked BAD at the plate.  He's expanding his strike zone, and chasing stuff away.  He's made good contact and hit the ball hard when he DOES manage contact..but that's been less often, and he's hitting the ball right at people. Looks, to me, like VERY tired legs.

I would guess Bird is our 1B for the next couple days.

And I would expect a plethora of moves today to repopulate and refresh the bullpen.

Baltimore may be a surprise

As much as I am enjoying this race.  I would prefer the jays to have first place clintched.   I have the feeling this will go down to the last weekend series.

That I will be at baby!!!!!

Wow A-Rod breaks his homerless streak in a huge way with a grand slam to give the Yankees a 5-4 lead.

Cherington cleans up the mess Epstein left then created a similar mess on his own.

Apparently had the chance to stay on but declined, I doubt he'll have any trouble finding a gig.

I wonder if Dipoto will be offered the gig?

Should be interesting to see who ends up GM. Lots of changes going on there. Luccino is leaving as well at season's end.

Nice to see the ball parks almost packed and full of energy!  Sure makes me jellious not to have a ball team closer than a two hour plane ride and my home team is 3 1/2 flight away!!!

Definitely nice to be 15 minutes away from both Yankee stadium and Citi Field. My free tickets last night still turned into close to 100 bux between parking, beer and food.

The parking is freaking killer....

We skipped going down this year (The Stadium is about 2.5 hours drive, for us...and no real, viable, train options near by).  First year we haven't been since the new stadium opened (and my first year not seeing a "live" game since 2005).  Part of it was total pricing (we're a family of 5), but a lot of it was just crazy work schedule stuff....
