I always thought IRS sounded the most like classic GNR of all the CD material. It was probably written around the time Slash left, anyway. I even started recording my own version of how I think Slash would play it, never finished but it sounded really good.
Id like to hear that.

This is what I have; I thought there was more, but I only played 2:00 into the song. And now that I listen back, I'm thinking of what I'd do differently, like rhythms and fading in the first notes, a-la Estranged. Maybe I'll get back to it this week. Solo will be the last thing, I want to really write it like a proper part of the song.

Damn, it got taken down immediately because I recorded over the demo version of IRS and their software recognized it. Didn't even think about that. Guess I'm stuck with one of the shitty backing tracks that are out there for it, no vocals.

Oh, no problem. Its probably the best way to not get your layers messed up with other lead guitars. Smiley

Actually, it was a version I found with no lead guitar.

So it wasn't a demo then, it was one of the Rock Band 2 isolated tracks.

Ah, that's right. I wanted to use the demo at first because I liked the vocals better.
