I would love to see that too but it seems like rock bands are set up to fail at awards shows these days.  The sound (which is usually shitty to begin with) comes off even worse when compared to the pop acts singing (or lip syncing) to pre-recorded tracks.

Yea I never have understood how they call Coldplay rock they are pop all the way there's nothing rock about them. I saw them at a rock music festival once and they got booed off the stage lol.
