The majority of this set is covers + cd songs

Their last concert had 15 non-cover, non-CD songs. The total # of songs in the set was 26 (covers, originals, solos, jams, what-fuckin-ever). PLEASE tell me HOW that is the MAJORITY of the set?Huh

Btw, now you're extending your complaint to include CD-songs.. Just to make your point more valid or what?

I do not think this band could do anything less to make you a fan

That's your opinion.

Many seem to think they are putting on a fine show these days. I choose to enjoy the moment, and still remain optimistic there will be new things in the future. Right now, Slash and Duff are back together with Axl and I think that's cool.

They added another cover song to the set instead of adding an original song

If this is your grief in life, I don't feel sorry for you.

I as a fan though have way higher standards though.  Guess you don't

Good on you.

I guess I will have the most fun though.

Yes enjoy the show most of us have seen over and over again and
Keep listening to the same songs we have all heard for the past 30 years

It was the best show I've ever seen in my life. I assure you I am a fan, and I have high standards. How about coming back to the band if they have new material, rather then going on about how we shouldn't enjoy shows?

I don't understand for the life of me why you bother continuously telling people they're wrong for having a fucking great night out.

Also- the cd songs were the highlight of the set for me. Suck it.

I kind of agree on Better and CD because they sound a bit different than the classic Gnr sound. This I Love and Sorry blend in the setlist a little better in my opinion.

Buick Makane (Big Dumb Sex) instead of New Rose or Attitude that was enough in my opinion and we are one place for song Guns N' Roses

Let's put things into perspective..

Few bands play such an extensive set as GN'R. We are pretty lucky fans in that regard.

Just a quick search on recent concerts:

U2 played 21 songs
Metallica played 18 songs
Tool played 13 songs
Iron Maiden played 15 songs
Coldplay played 23 songs
Foo Fighters played 20 songs
Red Hot Chili Peppers played 19 songs
Muse played 19 songs

Guns N' Roses played 24 songs (I have subtracted solos and instrumentals)

There are bands out there playing as many (Radiohead) or more (Springsteen, Pearl Jam) than GN'R. But let's be clear, they are among the bands putting on the longest shows.

How many bands that have been around for 30 years

Play as many cover songs as guns n roses ?

Pearl Jam... Fenway Park 2016. I was there.

They played 7 covers. They even closed the show with Baba O'Riley by the Who (same people who did The Seeker FYI)...

Pearl Jam are leagues above GnR as a live band...as a matter of fact they are probably the best live band EVER.

3+ hours shows , the setlist is different EVERY single night (and no im not talking about only 2 or 3 songs).

In my opinion no one can touch them live

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band plays like 300+ different songs every tour they make.

And every night the crowd brings signs with requests and the band picks like 4 of them and play.

Also his shows last 3 hours at the very least. Recently they played their biggest show ever, clocking in 4 hours and 7 minutes. And the guy is almost 70 fucking years old.

No band can hold a candle to Bruce and the E Street Band when it comes to live shows. Ever. Their respect for their fans is simply unbelievable and remarkable. Axl could learn a thing or two from him actually.

But in the end, it all comes down to personal taste.

I agree they are amazing... I was just responding to his question. They are a band that has been around since the early 90's with an extensive catalog that plays covers because they enjoy it.
