Wouldn't expect too many "surprises." I've learned to just expect business as usual this time around. A few welcome additions to the set in Philly, but I wouldn't expect anything groundbreaking.

for all we know this could be the last go around for these guys i don't care what the set list is take in these concerts because who knows what the future holds. And what is this forum gonna be like when there is nothing happening like the first decade of the 2000s minus a few tours here and there.

Anyone ever have luck meeting the band after a MSG show? I?d love to get a poster signed after the show for my new office.

Honestly the new lineup was "enough" for me - I saw those lineups 14 times. Reunion has been gravy to me.

It was the same way when Philly started, it'll fill up very quickly. Its hard to believe guns going on before 8. There Was A Time ... I saw them go on at 12:30 on a few occasions  hihi

Ha ha, there were a number of shows that we sat in the bar until 10 p.m. and then casually walked over to the arena and never once worried about missing the opening song. This was pre-reunion obviously.

Why is this not the first time hearing if setlist.fm is right Huh

It's understandable if some songs are missing but there wouldn't be a song included that was not played... Or?

Well, then of course not everyone knows which song is which beer

Was there -
This was an onslaught of energy - wow

Tremendous sound and feel - Slash was otherworldy and Axl at times you could see was jumping around working the crowd

* To the earlier comment about it being empty at first - that's exactly right - they took stage at 7:45pm and at 7:30pm it looked like there were maybe 10k in house. By the time the lights showed the crowd during Brownstone - the place was absolutely packed - crazy

The crowd was great last night... it was a little slow to fill up...but by the time brownstone started it looked to be about 100 percent full... Duffs side of the pit had considerably less people in it ...weird.. they def could fit more people down there.

I bought the Duff shirt...and I imagine Sunday and Monday will be Slash and Axl... so they are going to sucker me for each....

The band was incredible... not much to say really... as somebody who follows the band like me... I know what song is coming... that DOES take some out of the excitement out of it... but this is my band... my only band... and I am cherishing every minute of it...

I went to the show by myself straight from work and sat there in my work clothes...

CANT WAIT FOR SUNDAY where I can pre game, chill out with drinks, and see the show with a couple buddies of mine.

BTW Pink can really sing... wish she did the whole song with them.

She is great.  I'm a huge fan.  Her concert was one of the best ones I ever saw for any act.  Tons of energy, acrobatics and she can sing.

So casualties were TWAT and Don't Cry.
Attitude became New Rose as predicted.

Was there -
This was an onslaught of energy - wow

Tremendous sound and feel - Slash was otherworldy and Axl at times you could see was jumping around working the crowd

* To the earlier comment about it being empty at first - that's exactly right - they took stage at 7:45pm and at 7:30pm it looked like there were maybe 10k in house. By the time the lights showed the crowd during Brownstone - the place was absolutely packed - crazy

How late did they play until?

Are they still selling preshow merch from the trailer?  Does anybody know.
Or has it moved all inside of  the arenas...?

I wouldn't have thought MSG (or many of Arena venues) have the capacity for trailers outside.

Yeah - it's called the same guy who was selling gold watches inside of his trench coat and the same guy who was selling "vintage" Gnr t-shirts

this summer they had a trailer....my profile pic was with it in Ottawa.
I bought all my stuff before doors opened in Montreal.

Just wondering if it is going to be the same for this leg?

Looks like the trailer is there tonight (NJ) so safe to assume it'll be there at other nights, somewhere.....

Duff's wife posted this pic (I believe) on her instagram.  It was reposted by others on twitter.

Jus thought I'd mention this.... not in a negative way... just an observation...

The Wichita Lineman song... is really a vibe killer... I'm sorry... the band might enjoy it... but the crowd doesn't... I am not one to cry on the covers in the set...

but come on...give me Michelle AND Out Ta Get MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE over that song....

If setlist.fm is right , then they played Madagascar again Smiley

Why is this not the first time hearing if setlist.fm is right Huh

It's understandable if some songs are missing but there wouldn't be a song included that was not played... Or?

Well, then of course not everyone knows which song is which beer

I said " if setlist.fm is right" because I wasn't there and I don't trust an average Joe to get it right. For example, I checked setlist.fm for the Newark show, and they have TWAT listed as the 13th song( after this I Love and before Civil War) AND as the second song of the encore( after Madagascar).
I'm no conspiracy theorist, but there's nothing wrong with being a little skeptical of stuff you read on the internet, especially with something like this.

Surely there is nothing wrong in that and sure as hell in the early years songs were started and stopped for various reasons. So was a song played then or not.

Nowadays, however, there cannot be any ambiguity. The song either was played or not played.

It is just weird and stupid if the setlists are nowhere near correct rant

You would be correct.
Fact is - and I saw it in person last year at Metlife and this year at MSG - there are clear songs when people take advantage to go to the bathroom and to get food & drink

The chinese democracy songs unless they are played very early like CD and Better.... the solo parts like Duff's turn and then this Wichita lineman thing
Though I think it's a beautiful song - it did seem at out of place

Oh well -

Yeah, I agree! The atmosphere around me was a letdown when that song was played. I sat down and was kinda bored when that song came on.

Other than that, it was a great show!! Nice to see Pink on Patience. It was something different. This band is tight! The energy was great! I hope when this leg ends, GNR rests up and the new music in the later half of 2018.

Yep. It's usually a result of ticketmaster nonsense-holding back seats yo charge at sky high prices, people don't buy em so they end up going to waste.
