Out of interest, does anyone know where and when the last 5 piece show was?

April 7, 1990 at Farm Aid at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, IN.  The last show with all five original members, and Steven's last show until 2016.

After that, GNR's next performance was January 20, 1991 at Rock in Rio.  Steven was gone, but Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed debuted at this show. So we have Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff, Matt Sorum, and Dizzy Reed -- making it a 6 piece band.

Then came December 5, 1991 in Worcester, MA -- Izzy was gone, and new additions included Gilby Clarke, background singers, the horn section, as well as Teddy Zig Zag!   Tongue

Pretty comprehensive answer! Thanks for that. So really 1991 was the big leap in 'style' as a live show (for want of a better word).

It's possible. Considering the size of the venue and therefore the size of the GAPIT?

Sounds like pure speculation.

This sounds like someone somewhere is trying to think about it. They only forgot to tell the relevant people.

Those Vegas prices are insane. I love the band but I will not pay $1000+ for a ticket to one show.

Same here, was looking to see them again in Vegas, 1000 for a Ticket is too much. I have been to too many GNR shows, I think this is one of the expensive shows I have seen.

I am going to Guadalajara from US and will be cheaper including, travel, stay and ticket plus some beers =).
