Didn't see that one as a possibility.  Sounds like fun.  Maybe they changed their mind about a mini tour and they are heading out again.

I just hope they jump right into the studio in November, riding the energy wave of these live shows into whatever they're recording.

That would be ideal. I hope it doesn't become a big tour.

Same. Slash made it seem like there were concrete plans to record this fall. I would certainly hope that doesn't change.

I think the festival run this fall is a great move.  Puts them in front of people who may not necessarily seek out a GNR show and win them over.

This could be great for them. I have been really unimpressed by Post Malone's music but he does at least play his own instruments and seems to respect many classic rock bands. He could very well give a valuable shoutout to GNR.

What an odd lineup. Who is this aimed at?!

It's a Halloween themed festival, covers all genres. It's one of the better festivals. The audience is slightly older and some people come in Halloween/fancy dress. It's fun, although it can get affected by rain at that time of year. I'm not going next year, but planning on going the year after probably.

I find the concept of fancy dress truly bleak. It's one of the great mysteries of life to me, why anyone finds it 'fun'! haha!

I don't do fancy dress, but it's fun to see people enjoying themselves who maybe don't get out very often. I think the only thing I don't like now I'm older is music festivals full of kids/teenagers.   hihi

"who don't get out very often" - hahaha! So true! I always think that's who fancy dress is for; people that don't get out much!

Imagine how many idiots there will be dressed in a 'comedy' black wig and top hat? I shudder to think!

I think kids/teenagers is probably a good sign a festival is somewhat future looking....rather than the nostalgia nightmares that a lot of them seem to be! Having said that, I wouldn't go either!

Typically how much time do headlining acts get during festivals like these? Just curious as it's been a long time since I've attended something like this.

It depends really. GNR at previous festivals on the NITL tour have been allowed to pretty much play their full set. This could well be the same, but could equally see them dpimg a shorter set. Hard to know at this stage.

I clicked on it for half a second.  The person streaming is from Houston, TX but I'm not sure that's where the show is.

What an amazing experience this show was! Props to my wife and 14 yr old daughter for standing in the rain for 12 hrs. Axl sounded great and the band played as tight as ever. We were about 10 rows deep center stage. Dead Horse was a dream come true for me!

Saw where the New Orleans airport was in the dark for hours after that storm.  Reminded me of when the band was snowed in at the London airport for days.  Stranded at the airport.  The adult grounding.  I'd laugh but I've been there and done that.  I swear, I was fucking innocent of any wrongdoing.
