"You're an idiot"

WWW
« on: November 05, 2019, 03:55:19 AM »

The band just finished their tour in Las Vegas this past weekend. And because sometimes it's easy to forget what's been accomplished, here's a look back I just posted on the main site:

This past weekend saw Guns N' Roses perform two sold out shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV.

The first show was on Friday November 1st, and the second show on Saturday the second. The second show was also the last show on the Not In This Lifetime tour. Saturday's show was show number 175 since that historical show on April 1st, 2016 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA. The tour has visited 42 countries during its course.

The last leg of the tour saw the band perform add songs to their show that they hadn't performed previously on this tour. Dead Horse hadn't been performed since 1993 when it made its tour debut on October 23rd in Oklahoma City, OK. Locomotive hadn't been performed live since 1992 before it made its NITL premiere in Wichita, KS on October 7th.

Is that the end of the tour for sure? Are the March dates not part of the 'NITL'?

Unbelievable ride.  That's a lot of the planet to cover.  Had a great time myself.  Caught a few shows in person and most of the rest from the net.  Thank you Annie for the pit tickets in Milwaukee.  Thank you GNR for coming back to St Louis!  Thank you Gypsy for the coverage.

Appreciate the efforts of the crew and the band, all that unseen work.  Pretty much perfect run from my view.  If there were any problems, they have long since been forgotten.  They have a great job and do a great job.  All my best, happy holidays and down time.  Miss them already.

And to the GNR net community, what a long strange trip it's been.  hihi

Cheers. Be interesting to see if they go under any sort of 'banner' then, or are simply stand-alone shows.

I hope now GNR goes into the studio and delivers an album. I wonder if the new album will be called State of Execution. Look forward to more touring but hopefully get a new album by March.

I guess it all depends on how things go/what happens.

If those shows are the only ones, could be stand alone. If there's more shows in 2020, they could all be part of something.  Huh
