So this weekend my uncle took me to a deli he enjoys in Hollywood. He told me all about the history of it, and blah, blah, blah.
Well, as it turned out, it was Canter's Deli, and Marc Canter is the deli's owner. He is also a high school classmate/friend of Slash and his hobby was going to all of GNR's early gigs and documenting them with photos and notes. He even wrote a book about it and had signed copies available at the deli.
It was kind of fun to hear the stories, eat the food, sit in a booth the band used to use and pick up a copy of the book.
