Full disclosure:  That logo is just a screen grab from the video associated with the announcement.

Merida is a great cultural city, but with the exception of Paul McCartney, I don't remember having been visited before by a band of the caliber of Gn'R, strange, and certainly the show was canceled because he intended to play in the archaeological zone of Chichen Itza,

I wonder when there will be a update on the status of the European tour dates?  I'm surprised the band/ management have not said anything about the upcoming tour.

I think everybody can count on the tour being cancelled.  I think they are probably waiting to get a better picture for the rescheduled dates.  Imagine all the sports places trying to jam their season into reduced dates?  Concerts may not get priority over those events.  Types of venues may have to be changed.

I question if sports will resume this year, at least with a crowd especially the NBA an NHL. I would at this point also expect a shorter MLB season. I expect the European and USA tour to be next spring and summer.

I'm thinking we won't see any large crowds until there is a vaccine.

I won't say it's that dire, Dr Fauci said once we get a real time point of care test that we can do very quickly we can get people with it out of circulation, then much easier contact tracing. Also if we find an existing drug with antiviral or therapeutic properties that prevents it from being fatal, then we can start to get back to normal. Both scenarios are probably several months away though.

But once they start using drugs on it, won't it mutate and the drugs won't work?

I believe it already has mutated. Just look how it's affecting people since  the initial outbreak
