I believe they're going to be releasing live stuff on youtube. I hope it's full shows and not clips and that it's shows we haven't seen before rather than the pro-shot bootlegs we've all seen.
Still holding out hope for one day being able to watch Wembley 92.

It's been stated that it won't be full shows I think.

Wasn’t Wembley 92 the Freddie Mercury show?
They played Wembley in 1991 also, it was one of Izzy’s last shows.

They played Wembley in 1992 as part of the Freddie Mercury tribute and then in the summer as a headlining show.

The show was on June 13th, 1992 and Brian May joined GN'R to perform Queen's "Tie Your Mother Down" and "We Will Rock You".

I'd like to see them stream the Paris 92 show that was on pay per view.

The single best GNR show ever, IMO. Everyone is on fire and Slash's solo for Double Talkin Jive is in another world.

Yeah the only disappointment of that show was Jeff Beck unable to participate at the last minute to play Locamotive.

There’s a blu ray of that show made by fans in great quality going around online.

Yes Wembley 92 I was referring to the gig on June 13th not the Freddie Mercury one. Decent bootleg available but apart from bit with Brian May I've never seen any footage of it. My first gig at 16 years old. A brilliant concert.

I think it's the same show where Live And Let Die was included live as part of the MTV Music Awards. Amazing performance.

Oh God, really? That show is available to watch since ages. It's the first live footage every GNR fan sees after Tokyo '92.

It would be cool if they share 05/12/2006 in pro shot form. Yes, it wont happen, we all know that... but it would be much better than this crap https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1tj2zJ2Wvg&list=PLOTK54q5K4IPpNg0i5nfpOxw8A8KKvoln

Would be nice to have something new but what would be groundbreaking would be a GN'R live show broadcasted, like an acoustic type of thing from their home, studio or something.

I know I'm dreaming out loud but one can only hope.

To be honest, if you have the DVD there's not really any point - quality is the same as it's taken from the original broadcast.

Indeed. I'm getting old. Thanks for the remark. Other than that, don't want to sound negative but I think the band are a bit late with this. I know that with the current Covid-19 situation everything is different in each country but the security measures and state emergencies in most of the countries are over or pretty much near the end. At least in Europe. What I'm trying to say is that if the band wanted to put out a live show or live videos for the people watching during the stay at home, it's a bit late as most of them will not stay at home as they are allowed to go outside already. Even some open space bars are already open. On the other hand, the live concert or videos might have nothing to do with the Covid-19 situation and they might have just decided to put out a show. Again, I don't want to sound negative. It's great news anyways and I'm looking forward to see what they will put out.

You can see it that way, that they are late to the lock down party.  But at the time, a lot of people were doing it. It became one of those "Why can't GN'R do it because everyone else is?" things.

So in that sense, it's kinda cool that they didn't necessarily get caught up in all that hype...
