You can see it that way, that they are late to the lock down party. But at the time, a lot of people were doing it. It became one of those "Why can't GN'R do it because everyone else is?" things.
So in that sense, it's kinda cool that they didn't necessarily get caught up in all that hype...

I mean...to be fair: Even Fernando has acknowledged, on reddit, that this should have been done awhile ago, and they are a little bit late to the "party", so to speak.
Whether he meant that in relation to the "Covid" party, or just a general marketing/management/exposure party...well, we don't know.
But I think it's fair to say this was something they wanted to do, had discussed doing, and sort of slipped through the cracks with everything else going on. And he (and the rest of the team) are working on remedying it. I think that's a GREAT thing!
