Well soundgarden opened for a gnr at a certain point... Maybe it's just a flashback.

What looks strange to me is that they use the original song in this teaser (but maybe it's just the actor teaser) and for being just a "flashback" the axl character looks very detailed...even the thing he always did with the mic. But maybe,again, the guy could be just a fan who knows all these things

A longer clip. While he gets the look really well, he does not get Axl's voice and inflections well at all IMO. Not deep enough, and doesn't do the nasally mocking voice when imitating detractors, lol.
