Booking a little close.  Not familiar with the road systems in S AM but didn't they have a problem with the equipment getting hung up on the road down there?  Then again I think they have 3 stage set ups.  May have all of them in rotation.  Isn't this Del job, headache?  Who's ever job it is, good luck, looks complicated.  No sleep for the crew in mid September.   hihi

I think the Northeast of Brazil has been one of those places where the most fans have been asking for a show for years.

I know there's more cities there than Recife, but one show is better than none...

Yes, you're right. There's great demand for this kind of concerts around here.

A little geography: There are other 8 states in this region (9 total) but maybe 3 or 4 of them are close enough within drive distance. So maybe that's the reason for only one concert.

Could be multiple reasons. Logistics, available suitable venues etc.

Rehearsals wrapped up Friday?  I guess if they can get the flights out of the US, they will be good to go.  Wonder how many of their stage set ups they will have in play?  Good luck to the crew.

Is there a problem getting flights out of the USA to Brazil that we're not aware of?

South America is always a bit different to Europe and North America. A bunch of gear is probably local. Kinda like when bands play a festival, it's the festival's stage and gear.

Yeah, they've been having all kinds of delays and cancellations with flights.  Not sure how it affects international flights.  Apparently a lot of piolets retired during covid and they have a shortage of piolets.  Not to mention weather issues.  Planes and staff not where they need to be, that sort of thing.  People are spending a lot of time in the airports.

GNR may have rented a private plane too.  They could go that way.
