Slash does not love or can not really play Chinese Democracy songs.
I hope they are not re recording parts of songs that were meant to be for CD with Slash and Duff

Slash s ego seems to be too big to play on other musicians parts in GNR

I would want to go home after weeks of being on the road.  Axl doesn't seem to be one of those people that has a home.  Houses but they are more like all inclusive resorts he spends some time at.

I am not sure that's the case, he's done a stellar job imo. That said, I do think that they play the wrong VR track though, fall to pieces would be my choice if was going to be a single song.

I wonder if this is the case. I'm still surprised it hasn't made an appearance. Does anyone know if it was ever soundchecked/shown as an alternate on a setlist?

He could always take some freedom with it as Slash does with the solos on CD songs.

Big time.  

Slash could have very easily said "yeah, I'm not playing that shit" and I don't know who could have blamed him.  (though I don't think it's a coincidence they just about never play 'I.R.S')

Let's be real.  We all saw those NITL shows, a lot of us more than once.  What were the songs that got the least reaction?

Slash agreeing to do that was obviously an olive branch to Axl.  Which, at the end of the day, has served all we fans quite well the past 7 years.
