I think the bad blood (or whatever) with Izzy is more recent, because he didn't want to play ball and be a part of the reunion, and the statements he made about it. Axl obviously had no issues with Izzy during the ChiDem era as they shared the stage multiple times.

I found an interesting thing in the book in the super deluxe box set. In the press release from May 17 1991 Dizzy doesn't seem to be a band member yet, only for the tour. "Dizzy Reed also provides keyboard support, and will tour with GNR".

Maybe a brainfart due to Wild Horses, which they used to play live a lot.

Yes! On the backcover and the second page of the booklet of the deluxe cd.
But in the credits/lyrics section of the booklet its back to Dead Horse.
Also in Tidal its Dead Horse. Another mistake it seems.

I should be getting my boxset tomorrow. Lets see if its there aswel.

That version of Dust and Bones is right up there. I love the Slash backing vocals and its great to really hear the interplay with Slash and Izzy. Bravo!

Just watched the bluray. What a film!!

Lightning in a bottle. Just before they became a touring machine. Izzy was still there. Very fresh from the studio and so much energy. (Damn i love Matt's playing)
The vault has been opened now. I wonder what else we will get, if anything.  Wembley 91, Some gig from the Metallica tour, and a 93 show comes to mind.

Very happy about the release so far. Still have to listen to the Vegas show.

I find the new mastering to be decent, as i find the original to be perfect, and usually hate ''loudly compressed remasters'' this one is not bad at all. Very enjoyable.
The book is very nice too.

Could someone extract the separate channels from the 5.1 audio from Ritz BluRay?

Just realised im roughly the same age (27) as the band in 1991.
What a life.

I'd love to see the Paris show released at some point. I'm wondering why they didn't do a UHD Blu-ray version. They converted it to 4k and edited it in 4k. Seems like a wasted opportunity to do a UHD and standby HD Blu-ray.

The second part of Patience in Live Era 87-92 is identical with the Vegas 1992 one!

Mystery solved!!

Only Live Era song left to be confirmed is Jungle.

Paris was by far the best performance of the shows I've seen from the UYI tour. Every member was on fire and in tune with each other. Slash's solo on DTJ is his best ever, IMO. Imagine seeing it in the same quality as the Ritz!  drool

But who knows if they actually have it in any higher quality than the broadcast.

I just finished listening to the Vegas show and went thru the book.

The show is truly peak GN'R. Seems like the killer crowd really lifted the energy to 11 and seems like it was a highlight for the band since this show was used here, Live Era 87-93, Yesterdays single b-side, and on tv (Yesterdays)
And Slash met Meegan that day.

Onlycomplaint is that i want more stuff to discover   Grin

Im pretty sure Jungle from Live Era is also from Vegas but slowed down by about 2bpm. And Vocals are from a different show (Tokyo 20.02.1992)

The only negative of that show is Jeff Beck having to cancel, thus missing out on seeing them play Locomotive.

On the blue-ray it looks (and sounds) like Slash is muted a bit on his "rant" before YCBM. Can you english speaking people make that out? Do you think he says something offensive that had to be erased?
