Im very happy with the content. Im not a demo guy but i love live concerts.

Only complaint is that getting all the cds (the boxset plus the deluxe 2cd editions of the albums) will set me back almost 400€.
Im gonna buy them. Not sure i have the patience to wait the price to go down. But im thinking about it.

I will say:

It's a little weird to me that you don't put ALL the material out with the $240/$500 super deluxe sets?

Might have to pick up the deluxe sets too......hmmmmmmm.

Agree. The deluxe CD version could very well have been included in the "super deluxe" versions.

I'll probably buy the Super Deluxe vinyl and settle for just streaming the additional live tracks.

Heads up for all Europeans. I just learned that theres also a German GNR merch store https://de.gnrmerch.com/

Much cheaper than UK or US store to ship, and no taxes added with customs.

Pre-ordered the super deluxe cd version and the deluxe versions of Illusions 1 and 2.  Love the extras and tracklist.

So to get "everything" I have to buy three things... normally you don't have to do that if you buy super deluxe!

And I also find it odd that the original album version of November Rain isn't included on any version?

But on the positive side, I love that the live shows don't have re-recorded vocals and are just as rough as they should be.

Thanks for that!

I bought the Appetite Locked N' Loaded box set way too soon and too expensive so I'm gonna wait for the price to drop.

I wonder why they didn't include the Rough And Q Sound Mixes. Those are great! Or the KOHD version from Days Of Thunder.

Yeah. Maybe because that stuff in already online. Its just the same recordings but mixed not as well. (Allthough the extended 14 Years is cool)  They wanted to give something new. Anyway i dont mind it since i didnt really care about the Appetite demos included on the earlier boxset. So i dont mind it.

Nothing from The Spaghetti Incident is a bit of a surprise. But then again why bother when we all have it.  Including GNR Lies on the Appetite set was not necessary either.

And maybe they are saving Aint Going Down for something else... Wasent there a Hanoi Spaghetti outtake thats unreleased? Or was it just something they planned to record but never did?

I'm betting November Rain will be a single

Noticed some cameras in the picture with the conductor of the orchestra, maybe a music video? The new orchestra combined with live shots of the band - could be cool.

Yeah that Ycbm is as rough as i remember the bootleg to be.

Interesting choice. The band sounds very much like a club band here. Mistakes. Setlist totally done on the fly, broken leg. BUT they killed it. They still sound like the nastiest, fucked up, most tightest band in town. Which i love
And sound like they are having the time of their life.

Vegas 92 will be a surprise.

I absolutely loved it.  As you say, raw.

And more to the point : ACCURATE.  That's who this band was in 1991.  I'm glad they didn't fuck with it.

Let's face it...'Live Era' is a complete abomination with those re-recorded vocals.  And even the enhanced crowd noise on some tracks.  Just really lame.

This...this sounds like your standard right off the soundboard bootleg.  The best kind, in my opinion.

Yep, maybe they want those who can't afford the super deluxe to have something unique?

I just read yesterday that the band didn't actually re-record November Rain. They just replaced the programmed orchestra with a real 50 piece orchestra.

Here's the article https://ultimateclassicrock.com/november-rain-new-version-2022/
